This page says the contest ends Tuesday (today) but the other page says the 20th. Hope it's Tuesday cause we just sent in an audition video/pic.

My group is excited about submitting an entry but we wondered when the sound check usually is at a show. If selected, we'd probably want to attend the 8 PM Kansas City show but a number of our members are college kids who could not get to the venue until 6:15 PM because of classes. I know your rule is that if you are on the audition tape, you have to be at the sound check at the show venue or get disqualified. Also, what are the file limits or restrictions for submitting an entry? I couldn't find them on your site. I look forward to your answer.

So near and yet so far... A couple of years ago three girls held their first "MicroConference" in Toronto, Canada. One girl was from British Columbia and the other two were from Nova Scotia. One of the girls had gotten hooked on SNC's Christmas album and brought it along on her iPod. "Africa" became an instant hit with all of them and became the theme for that, and future MicroConferences - the song easily being played hundreds of times and the three of them learning to harmonize along with the dulcet tones of the Chasers. This year the girls found out that SNC was going to be in New York in November and plans for the latest MicroConference started hatching. SNC in NCY? How could they resist!! Then, imagine their additional excitement when they saw the contest! They could realize their dream of singing a capella for real people and not just the hotel room service guy! Sadly, imagine their disappointment when they saw the show deadline requirements. Pooh! Since that time, they've extended the trio to a quartet (the fourth from New Brunswick) and one of them has broken a foot which may or may not require surgery, but come hell, high water or crutches the Cross Canada Contingent will be attending the SNC MicroConference in NYC on November 30th. They can't wait to see you guys then and sing along in the audience! Counting the days.. Gina (Nova Scotia Member of the SNC MicroConference) (MicroConference (n): a conference like event where a small number of individuals get together to do things that you would normally do at a traditional conference - such as ice breakers and door prizes, but in a smaller and much sillier manner.)

I live in a very musical family and would love to get a bunch of reletives and sing this but i can't do that with all the school stuff going on! Another reason school isn't my favorite place. :(
