“Christmas Cheers” Continues To Climb The Charts and a Spring 2010 Tour announced!

Spring 2010 Tour announced!

ATCO/Atlantic recording group Straight No Chaser continues to spread holiday cheer this season. The 10-man a cappella group originally formed by college buddies at Indiana University more than a decade ago continues to climb the charts with their new holiday collection, CHRISTMAS CHEERS, as well as their 2008 debut, HOLIDAY SPIRITS. As Straight No Chaser continues their nearly sold-out Fall tour, a new Spring tour has just been announced. Dates will go up on the site shortly!


• CHRISTMAS CHEERS peaked at #33 this week on the Billboard 200, #10 on Billboard’s Holiday Albums chart, and #12 on SoundScan’s Digital Albums chart.

• HOLIDAY SPIRITS, the group’s 2008 debut album, #13 on SoundScan’s Top Catalog Album chart, not to mention #23 on Billboard’s Holiday Albums chart.

• The group is scheduled to appear on the Christmas Day edition of NBC’s The Today Show, performing holiday favorites throughout the broadcast.

• The group’s PBS special, Live In New York: Holiday Edition, has proven a massive success, as it was quickly picked up by stations across the country and is currently airing throughout the station’s annual December Pledge Drive (check local listings here: http://sncmusic.com/pbsspecial/. The concert was filmed this past August at New York City’s famed Angel Orensanz Foundation. 

• The group’s famous version of “The 12 Days Of Christmas” has now received over 10 million views on YouTube. Visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Fe11OlMiz8 to watch the clip.

    Oh, hey, geez guys, I think you overlooked Buffalo, NY for the Spring Tour...just because the Bills have been playing pop Warner level football (and that's even a stretch!) doesn't mean you can't come back to entertain us again...we'll even get you booked at the HSBC Arena!

    Besides, we still need to get you to the Anchor Bar for "original Buffalo Wings"!!

    For people interested, the group is going to have a show at IU-Bloomington on April 12, with tickets already available. As a bonus, if you buy them today, Friday Dec 11, the IU website is
    waving the $10 ticket handling fee for all tickets purchased to all events, including this one.

    is there anyway I can purchase a dvd of this show? I'm in Montana and there are no scheduled air dates, and I am a huge fan and would love to see this.
