“Christmas Cheers” Continues To Climb The Charts and a Spring 2010 Tour announced!

Spring 2010 Tour announced!
ATCO/Atlantic recording group Straight No Chaser continues to spread holiday cheer this season. The 10-man a cappella group originally formed by college buddies at Indiana University more than a decade ago continues to climb the charts with their new holiday collection, CHRISTMAS CHEERS, as well as their 2008 debut, HOLIDAY SPIRITS. As Straight No Chaser continues their nearly sold-out Fall tour, a new Spring tour has just been announced. Dates will go up on the site shortly!
• CHRISTMAS CHEERS peaked at #33 this week on the Billboard 200, #10 on Billboard’s Holiday Albums chart, and #12 on SoundScan’s Digital Albums chart.
• HOLIDAY SPIRITS, the group’s 2008 debut album, #13 on SoundScan’s Top Catalog Album chart, not to mention #23 on Billboard’s Holiday Albums chart.
• The group is scheduled to appear on the Christmas Day edition of NBC’s The Today Show, performing holiday favorites throughout the broadcast.
• The group’s PBS special, Live In New York: Holiday Edition, has proven a massive success, as it was quickly picked up by stations across the country and is currently airing throughout the station’s annual December Pledge Drive (check local listings here: http://sncmusic.com/pbsspecial/. The concert was filmed this past August at New York City’s famed Angel Orensanz Foundation.
