So happy to know everyone is heeding the warning...stay safe on a lower floor! We have tics for Tues. but are unsure if we will be able to get down there from the Albany/Schnectady/Sar toga area. The shore area, Spring Lake an hour 15 north of AC where we stay has been evacuated as well. Then of course everyone needs to get back home after the storm. Thruway and Northway may be closed as well as the Garden State too. Fingers crossed and prayers sent for everyone's safety!

I saw on TV where the whole area in NJ was pretty much shut down as the hurricane is headed right for that area as well---being on the shore would definitely not be a good place to be. Hope the guys found a good place to hand out for a couple of days! Everyone, prayers go out to all the rest of the Chasers are in the path of the storm. My last one was shortly after we moved to VA and about a year after my husband died. I'm from the Midwest so I was used to tornados, but when you are in a hurricane, it is like it goes on forever. My neighbors have been helpful today helping me do things I could physically do, but it is done and now we awain all the wind and rain! Stay safe all!!!!

Part of me thinks that it would be one hell of a weather show to see the storm from a highrise in AC.. however safety definitely comes first. Take care whomever might be in Irene's path. She doesn't look pretty.

SheriS, the last one that hit this bad was Hurricane Gloria in 1985. I remember that day as I made settlement on my house. Talk about WIND & RAIN. My prayers are with ALL who live in it's path and for OUR GUYS. I just feel sorry that the shows could not be rescheduled, espically if it was someon'es first SNC concert. ALL be safe this weekend.

I'm sure the guys have been evacuated----sure hope so! Not looking forward to the next couple of days as I've been through one of these before--supposed to hit here tomorrow, but sure looks like it could be later today!

We would never want you to cancel shows either but we are just as concerned for the safety of the SNC crew. Will keep all of you in prayers as well as those of us who are in this storms path. Please stay safe.
