    Merry Christmas!

Well, here we are on Christmas day.

First, I have to say, Merry Christmas to all of you fans who have supported us throughout the tour.  I've said it before and I'll say it again; THANK YOU!  You guys provided us with so much positive energy and support that really made this tour that much easier.  Personally, I am honored to have such an incredible and loyal fan base.  You all should pat yourselves on the back.

I hope each and every one of you was able to enjoy this day with your family and friends.  It's been amazing to have family around (as well as, normal sized shampoo not from a hotel, real beds, great showers, couches, television where I know the channel lineup haha, etc.)

This tour was incredible every step of the way, from the moment we first set foot on stage in Bloomington, IL right up to the final bow in Raliegh, NC.  If you were able to catch us on this tour, thank you for coming and I hope you really enjoyed our show.  If you were unable to catch it, I hope that you are able to get to one of the shows in the spring.

I'm completely stuffed and am about to hit the food coma state.  I'm hoping to catch a showing of Sherlock Holmes later tonight.

    Some highlights from my Christmas..

    -Amazing food everywhere

-My brother framed Christmas Cheers along with a signed ticket, its really awesome.

-Got an awesome digital camcorder to capture life with SNC among other great gifts

The best moment of my Christmas, by far, was watching my nieces go nuts while opening their presents.  It really makes you miss being a kid, but at least we can watch and reminisce and at the end of the day, they may be getting tons of awesome toys, but I can drive a car, haha.

All in all, this year was amazing and I have been incredibly blessed to be able to share the stage every night with 9 best friends that have become brothers.  It's time for us to enjoy some time off while we come up with ways to make our show even better for the spring.  I hope you all had an amazing holiday and have an even better new year.  I look forward to hearing from you all and seeing you in the spring!

    Thank you,

    Seggie (& Turf)

I already have my tickets for the Houston show - couldn't get close because the lower level sold out immediately! You guys are great!!!!
Bailey's picture

That's great! I haven't heard that fact yet, so that has made extremely excited. Hey, dreaming is great too, and some dreams like this can turn into reality. ;)
Shaina's picture

Nope, I've heard the same thing as well. :) I'm too excited for that one!! :D

You're welcome - some folks know that and some don't. I've heard they are coming out with another CD in 2010, possibly called "With a Twist." Or maybe I dreamt that. ;-) Hard to keep track of things on here and FB both.

S.Brandon, I am aware that they have that CD on Itunes, I'm suggesting that they put more out there. Thanks anyways for sharing that information with me, I appreciate it.

Bailey, they did a non-Christmas EP this summer called "Six Pack." It is no longer available as a CD, but iTunes has the songs included in a deluxe version of "Christmas Cheers," so you can get them that way if you like.

Hi! I heard you guys on the radio and instantly fell in love with your group. You guys will have a great year in 2010. You should think about doing some non-christmas music albums. It would be amazing. Think about touring in great old Indiana, especially Fort Wayne. Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year. Lil Bailey

Dear Straight No Chaser, Thank you for sharing your musical gifts this season, last season, and hopefully for many more to come. I saw the concert in Royal Oak, MI, this December and already have tickets for your return in April. You are, quite simply, amazing artists -- and among the greatest at balancing confidence in performance with humility of character. (Of course, I believe that balance to come from living and learning in the great Midwest.) Thank you also for so noticeably being in awe of the opportunities that you've earned. You are outstanding musicians and, from what you have taught and shown, even better people. It is great to love what you do for a living -- and even greater to show that love to the people around you. Straight No Chaser shows us this in everything I've seen and heard. Congrats to all of you on a great year. And Happy 2010!

I hope you have a great 2010. Wish you were coming back to Indiana, specifically South Bend, at the Morris Performing Arts Center. You've never been in northern Indiana, and I'm terribly disappointed that you won't be coming up here on your next tour.

Like the picture of the food and gifts. Kind of reminds me of the "thousand presents" from Christmas Can-Can. LOL

Seggie, Glad to hear you had a fantastic Holiday with family! Isn't it fun watching nieces and nephews opening presents? My nieces were bouncing off the walls when they were opening their presents! Thank you for sharing your holiday story with us, and I hope you enjoy your camcorder!! There's nothing like catching great memories of family and friends, then looking back on it years later...and revisiting that happiness! :) I wish you a very Happy New Year, and I can't wait to finally meet you all in April in Northampton! God Bless, -Jessi

JazzChord, please contact Dan and Walt via their bio page and they will have info on acquiring arrangements. Thanks!

Discovered you guys this month and really enjoy the charts and singing. As a fellow musician, I am impressed. As a choral director, is there a way to purchase any of your arrangements for my school's high school jazz choir to perform?

I just happen to come upon your CD today while shopping. I bought it and my family LOVES it!!!! I wish you guys were coming to Mpls. I would be there. LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!

Did your nieces receive SNC CDs for Christmas? That could explain the going nuts part. Seggie, You do a great job with PR for the group. Keep up the good work. I am so looking forward to the concert in Bloomington in April! Seventh row. Gotta love it!

Merry Christmas, Seggie! Glad you had a fabulous holiday :) Looking forward to seeing you and the guys in Cali in the spring!

Thanks for a great "season," Seggie, and to all the guys. Please enjoy the rest that you all so well deserve! A Happy New Year to you all, and may you not have to sing Twelve Days again for a long time. ;-)

Merry Christmas to you too!!! I am glad that you guys are able to rest up after an amazing tour. I saw your concert in Schenectady and it was amazing. I didn't want the night to end. It was such a very enjoyable evening. I think one of the best parts (besides the singing) of your show is when you all laugh at yourselves. I was really glad that I taped your PBS special and Christmas Day Today Show performance on DVR. I remember last year when your group was on the Today Show with Kathy Lee and Hoda. You guys have come so far in a year. You deserve all the success you have! You're so talented!! Thanks for doing what you do. You can tell that you put alot of work into your show. It really comes across. Like Diana said, thanks for sharing so much of yourselves with us and being accessible to us. Love sharing the adventure with you. It's so nice listening to "real music"!! Have a terrific break, take care of your vocal cords and hope to see you in concert again very soon!!

Merry Christmas Seggie - glad you had a great day, and are now enjoying a well deserved rest. Thanks to you and the guys for sharing so much of yourselves with us...from the beginning to the end, I admire how accessible you make yourselves. The webchats, the tour of the bus, the twitter updates all let us "be on tour" with you... Have a great break, the spring tour will come quickly,

You don't like the little shampoo bottles?!? Merry Christmas to all of you and we'll see you in the spring!

To say it has been an honor to watch during the tour is not gratitude enough. Thank you bringing joy to unprecedented level. Through all those times away from your family and loved ones, you strived to be best and it really showed. That's inspirational. I hope to see many, many more tours during which I will think to myself again "that's fabulous". No doubt there, I know it will be. Fondest wishes for an abundance of success, God's care and blessings to you and yours.

I'm glad you had a great and restful Christmas, Seggie! Thanks for everything you've done this tour; I'm sure it must feel great to be back home with friends and family. I'm still working on convincing my parents to let me go to your concert in the spring, and I REALLY hope I'll get to do so. Anyway, thanks again and Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Seggie!!!.  I am soooo very glad you are enjoying your Christmas!  I want to thank you for taking time from your holiday to say those nice things to us, your fans.  I was hoping to get some feed back from someone in SNC to make sure you guys were getting rest and time with your loved ones.  Take your time coming back from that "food coma" and continue to enjoy your holidays. I have my tickets to see your Spring show in Santa Fe, NM on the 10th of May.  So I will surely see you then. I can't wait!!! I have started a new family Christmas tradition . . . . playing the SNC CDs all day long!!  Again . . . Merry Christmas and have a Happy New Year.  Thanks again Seggie!!! (Tall, Dark and Handsome)

Merry Christmas Seggie. Sit back, relax and enjoy the quiet or not so quiet of Christmas. Thank you for sharing your gift with us. Connecticut loves all of you. I will be looking forward to seeing your next set of creativeness and so are my K-4 music students. Merry Christmas and Thank you again, Allegra
