What happened to Dan?

Thanks all for the great response and wonderful comments! Like my co-hosts have said before me, thank you, Dan, so much for your time and for the interview! :)

What a wonderful interview and it's true, we love to listen to your group because you are different, down to earth, fun and so talented! You are going to be so missed Dan, but I know that you will be there like a Papa watching over your family! We wish you well and know that you are a very special and extraordinary person who will be entertaining us for years in whatever medium you follow, reporting news, singing, composing or just walking down the street with that sexy sweet smile and your cool composure. What more could the world ask for?!

Thank you WebCrew as always for posting. You guys rock! This was a difficult interview to do as it was very bittersweet, but a big thank you goes out to Dan for chatting with us. And you will DEFINITELY be missed. :-)

mmkandg1, he has taken a job in broadcasting, which he was doing before they got the now-legendary call from Atlantic records. He is also engaged, so he may want to settle into married life for a while without wandering the country. :-)

So the question remains - Why is he leaving?

Thanks everyone (Dan too) for bringing this to us. Dan, you will be missed but we'll be glad to have you back in Chicago. Thank you for bringing this great gift of Straight No Chaser to us, for caring for your fans the way you all do and for all of the memories we'll always have. Glad you'll still be involved with the group even as you start a new chapter in your professional life. The world would be a better place if we had more acts as wonderful as all of you who love their fans as much as you do and go out of their way to share that love the way you all do. Just know we'll always be there for you all and always have your back and the bands band.

Great job guys! Well done interview, but bittersweet as well! It was a reminder for me the next time I see SNC live it will be with a new person in Dan's spot! Cried all the way through the "chat"! Thanks so much to Dan for taking the time to do the interview. Will miss him a whole bunch!
