Last time they had a webchat I couldn't get in. :-(

The pollstar blog did say it was a brand new show for PBS. Guess I am hoping that someone official from this site will clarify it for us .

I wondered, too, that we had not heard anything here about the new(?) PBS concert. That strikes me as very odd; why wouldn't they have been promoting it?? I'll have to check our local schedule.

I got my local PBS local news in the mail today. According to it, they are going to be using tickets to the Norfolk show as an incentive to give. No mention of another video--BUMS ME OUT AS I'VE HAD MY TICKETS SINCE THEY FIRST WENT ON SALE! Hope someone else had news that will prove this to not be the only incentive--PRAYING FOR ANOTHER VIDEO!

That's the same thing our station said plus I did read the Pollstar article. I didn't remember it saying it was brand new. Guess I should go reread it.

The a cappella phenomenon Straight No Chaser provide a captivating and entertaining evening for all. The 10 male vocalists marry impeccable harmony with just the right amount of humor. This special presents a mix of classic hits from the 1950s and 1960s, the Motown era and contemporary pop hits, all with the classic SNC twist.

The above is from my local PBS station. I copied it so you can see what they are promoting for the 3/11 show. Times and day might be different for your stations, but this sounds like a whole new program!

I can't make it at all. I'll be doing to projects, homework, studying for a test probably, softball tryouts, and musical rehersal until 9.

Randy recently said on twitter to check out pollstar. The article says that there will be a "brand new PBS special: Live in New York." But then again, I am still unsure because the SNC guys haven't mentioned doing another PBS special.

Can someone clarify whether this is the holiday edition that's playing in March? Cindy, my PBS schedule says Live in New York, but it doesn't say holiday edition. Since none of the guys mentioned doing a new PBS special, I have a feeling it's the same one. Although I love that one, I already have the DVD and would like to see a new one.

i just checked my local PBS schedule and they are listing a replay of the holiday edition on their calendar. i'm hoping it is a mistake.

Can't locate the PBS special on my local PBS station site. I'll have to call them. We are an annual supporter so they talk my call.

Question for the WebCrew: Do you know how long the chat will last this time? I will be on the road right when it starts, but I might be able to make it at the end...

How can I find out when the new PBS program will be on in March? I think I hit the rsvp button for the webchat.

Sorry, the PBS program is March 11, at least in my area. It is the Web Chat that is March 8.
