Yesterday in Review

April 17, 2010

All days while on tour are significant for us, but yesterday was HUGE.  Even caps-lock can't express the magnitude of April 16, 2010 for SNC.

Not only did we roll into New York City with a sold-out Nokia Theater waiting for us in the heart of Times Square, but we sang on our first late night TV program for millions of viewers.  Let me say this:  Jimmy Fallon is the man.

During our sound check, he sat out in the studio, listened to our TGIF Medley (that was whipped up last week and came down to the wire with rehearsals), and was laughing his butt off as the video montages from each show scrolled across the screen.  He gave us 15 minutes of his time afterwards, shook all of our hands, took pictures, cracked jokes with us, and really made us feel welcome to be on his show.  Jimmy, if you're reading this, THANKS for everything yesterday.  You gave us an amazing platform to perform on and we'd love to work with you again.  We'll hold you to that Atlantic City hang-out session this summer, too!

Gotta get ready for our first of two shows today (wish us luck; we'll need it!).  Thanks for all the tweets, Facebook comments, etc. about last night's performance.  Our fans are the best.

Cheers,

Ryan

If you weren't able to catch it last night, we're featured on Jimmy's website below:

How FUN was the 1980's medley!! You all had to be in grade school or Junior High! At least most of you! LOL! Many blessings for continued successes!

I brought my Mom, Aunt, cousin, sister and daughter and her friend....even Mom was on her feet "woohoo-ing" for ya!!!! (she's gonna be 70!) I was pleased to be able to meet you all afterwards, altho I really didn't know what to say! Up close and personal you are just as genuine as your music. Thank you for the energy packed performance..you must have been beat! Hope to see you in the fall! And yes, put on the Christmas music every once in a while... it really does make you smile!

So guys...I have listened to your CD everyday since I've gotten it in the mail. I LOVE "Fix You". That is by far my favorite. I get the chills every time I listen to it. And I also wanted to let you know...that my dad really does not like music at all, but he listened to you guys and he said he really likes you guys because you have real talent and you don't cover it up with instruments. You guys are amazing!

How amazing for all of you. Looking back who would have thought a youtube posting would bring you to this point. To be honest although the posting started it what has carried you this far and will continue to carry you even farther is your genuine love for what you do... your pure talent.... your ability to laugh at yourselves...and your rerspect for your fans and all those behind the scenes who help make all this happen.

I was able to see you "live" for the first time at Lansdowne and I was so in awe of the performance. Lovely how each personality shined. I forgot to bring my camera but actually I don't need a image on a piece of paper... I can keep them in my mind and my heart. You all have "touched " my life in a positive way more then you will ever know or understand.

You will all remain in my prayers. Please rest when you can.. be gently to your voices and stay safe. To those behind the scenes folks who keep you moving thank-you for all your hard work. A special thank-you to the bus driver who gets you from point A to point B safely.

God bless each of you and keep you all in His grace.

A great big thank you for taking the time to perform for us at the historic Lansdowne Theater on Saturday. You warmed our hearts and lifted our spirits! It was an awesome performance and one of the best concert experiences we have ever enjoyed. You are amazingly talented artists and showmen! Our daughter sings in an a cappella group at her school in Bryn Mawr, PA (The B Naturals and B Flats). She recently brought your CD's into school to share with her fellow singers - they were truly inspired by your talent. We wish you much continued success and all the best. Thanks again for supporting our endeavor to "Save the Landsowne Theater". We hope to see you "down the shore" in Atlantic City this summer!

Well done on Fallon! And, I can't help myself, but I just told two more of my friends about you guys today! Later, we were talking about movies and she commented on how obsessed she was with the lead actor, and don't I like him, too? Uhhhh, sorry, but I'm obsessing over ten other men right now! = )

    Thanks, Ryan, for the update!

you guys truly are the most gracious people/celebrities that i have ever met in my life. I only have positive things to say about yall...n now because of me, most of my family/friends like and respect you guys for what you do.
I saw the Kansas City show on apr. 7, and im STILL on a high from it. I didnt think i was going to get to meet you guys after the show, but when i found out i was going to, i was sooooo excited. You guys blew me away. I loved that you guys actually took the time to say "thanks" or ask how the show was and actually TALK to us...your loyal fans. Your guys' efforts to make us feel loved back is amazing.
I could keep going, but i guess ill stop here, lmao. I wish i could make it to Atlantic City, but as a poor college student, i dont think its gonna happen since its so far away from Nebraska (unless i win the lottery?!). I cant wait for the next tour though, i will DEFINATELY be at a show! I hope the rest of the tour goes smooth for you studs. Keep safe, n have fun!!!

We mirror what we see in & receive from you guys.
I hope you're not getting tired of hearing how great you all are, but I have never seen anything like you guys & what's happening for you & how you've touched us all in what really is a realitively short time.
You are enriching so many lives & allowing us to all be a part of it only endears you to us more.

You guys were so fabulous! And I know I kind of teased with some of the other fans on Twitter, but there was a part of me that felt so proud seeing you guys on tv, cause you really deserve it. It's just so exciting to think of these awesomely talented and amazingly down-to-earth people getting the opportunities that you are getting.

Can't wait to see you live in May!
