    SNC Names

I've been impressed with the number of fan suggested songs and even explanations with why you'd love to hear the song! I think that thread has over 200 comments now.  I've also seen a few future Album names suggested throughout reading different discussions and comments.

SNC has clearly come up with some great names, so they have a real knack for it, but I'm curious...

If you could name the album that comes after "With a Twist", what would it be?

Happy Hours- plural- for the continued bar/drinking theme, but also the happy hours we've all had because of SNC & their music.

Another Round was used in IUSNC, but nothing wrong with repeats :) Names or suggestions!

I like Jennifer's "Another Round." Not sure if this is the first time it was mentioned or not, as the thread started long ago and there have been a few repeats of suggestions.

Fourth Track: Wrong Way, Sidecar - sorry to those who are confused by the tracks we are mentioning. We had an 'experience' in meet & greet in AC

Loving that this thread has gotten some new life! Everyone is so creative!!!!!

I like "Shattered"! I'm a little late joining this discussion ;)

Third track will be "T-R-O-U-B-L-E" for you starting this Tina!!

Second second track will be "Throw Kim Under the Bus" Right Charlie :-)

Has anyone suggested "SECOND ROUND"?
LOTS of great suggestions on the thread!! I just took a glance through and enjoyed the creativity!!

Maybe "Another Round"??

Hah! Tina, you made me nearly shriek out loud. (It was out loud; I'm not sure it was quite a shriek.)

I was going to say "More Twisted," but that sounds kind of sick. How about "Bendy Straw?" But you know, one of those that actually has a knot in it. ........... Never mind.

I *love* it, Tina!!!!!!!!!!!! First track, "Save the Gin"

The next SNC album should be titled, respectively:

#BLAMECARLA

"Shattered," huh? Interesting concept, Kim! Or maybe "Breaking Glass." although I don't think any of the falsettos go that high! :-D

Julie, I wasn't comparing their singing so much as Alan Jackon's superstardom. You can't exactly walk in and take a song title from an established star, even when you are heading that way yourselves. ;-) I haven't listened to country in a while...I had to check to make sure that's whose song it was. Is. Whatever.

Sorry S - not much of a country fan here. Wouldn't know an Alan Jackson album if it hit me in the face, therefore, I retract my 5:00 suggestion! (However, I think SNC could hold their own against Alan Jackson, or any other performer! lol)

LOL @ klancy96! Another idea.... "Will I See You in the Meet & Greet?" Okay, that sounds more like a song title, and now we're just getting carried away! :p

klancy96's picture

"Shattered" - from experience, that's what happens when a glass gets knocked over at a meet & greet :-D ...- and it also works in all of the pre-conceptions people have about acapella - SNC is just 'shattering' those pre-conceptions!

I'm trying S! ;-)
Uninhibited?
That's all I got!

Julie, you might have copyright trouble with "It's 5 O'Clock Somewhere." I don't think the guys are up for taking on Alan Jackson.

I don't *think* that's that's the phrase I'm looking for Donna, but Diminished Capacity has a ring to it...not so much a positive one, though! Eileen, I think you're right about it sounding like a book title. ;-)

Betty, no - something with the word inhibitions in it, probably a two-word phrase, but it's not coming to me. Or maybe I'm nuts and there's not a phrase to find. ;-)

Schlemiel! Schlimazel!

Long story.

"It's 5:00 Somewhere"

Good title, and also something Seggie would say, I'm sure =)

I like the suggestions of On the House and Happy Hour.

Has anyone suggested Speakeasy, yet? Or Mixers?

EileenR's picture

Diminished Capacity sounds like a book title.

Diva_Donna's picture

S, Diminished capacity?

Diva_Donna's picture

I haven't gone thru all the messages, so I don't know if any of these have already been listed, seems likely.
How about, On the House?

Diva_Donna's picture

How about, What's on Tap?

I'm liking "Happy Hour".

SNC music has made me so happy....I started drinking.

Kidding. I never stopped.

Betty897X's picture

S: Buzzed??

S. Brandon's picture

No...what's the phrase that applies when someone has been drinking some, but before "no inhibitions?" Reduced? Um...shoot. I know there's a phrase, but my brain can't come up with it.

Tara Marie Ahn's picture

Oooh, Kim, I like that idea and totally agree with the thought behind it! :)

“No Inhibitions”

After seeing the Lady Gaga video (and loving it!) and some of the other crazy awesome things that SNC does, this potential album name came to me :o)

SNC groupie's picture

Well if we want to keep the drinking theme going there's "Bottom's Up" or "This Round's on Us". But I don't think we want people to think the guys are ready for AA!
The beauty of With a Twist is that it incorporates the name of the group with the twist to the original songs.
"Twist Again"? I'll keep thinking.
