All days while on tour are significant for us, but yesterday was HUGE. Even caps-lock can't express the magnitude of April 16, 2010 for SNC.
Not only did we roll into New York City with a sold-out Nokia Theater waiting for us in the heart of Times Square, but we sang on our first late night TV program for millions of viewers. Let me say this: Jimmy Fallon is the man.
During our sound check, he sat out in the studio, listened to our TGIF Medley (that was whipped up last week and came down to the wire with rehearsals), and was laughing his butt off as the video montages from each show scrolled across the screen. He gave us 15 minutes of his time afterwards, shook all of our hands, took pictures, cracked jokes with us, and really made us feel welcome to be on his show. Jimmy, if you're reading this, THANKS for everything yesterday. You gave us an amazing platform to perform on and we'd love to work with you again. We'll hold you to that Atlantic City hang-out session this summer, too!
Gotta get ready for our first of two shows today (wish us luck; we'll need it!). Thanks for all the tweets, Facebook comments, etc. about last night's performance. Our fans are the best.
Cheers,
Ryan
