Straight No Chaser Christmas Sheet Music!

    Attention choir directors and singers!

Over the past 2 years we have received numerous requests for Straight No Chaser sheet music and arrangements. We have decided this year to give them away to you for free! We would love to give all you fellow singers out there the chance to perform them during your Christmas concerts.

Because of publishing concerns, we are only able to give away our original songs and those in the public domain.  Unfortunately, we are not able to give away or even sell any of the other arranagements that are not listed below.

Hark the Herald Angels Sing / Angels We Have Heard On High
    Jingle Bells
    What Child Is This?
    Silent Night
    Indiana Christmas
    Christmas Wish

We hope that you enjoy! Please make sure to print the arrangement and performance credit in all of your choir programs and advertising (Ex: Arranged by Dan Ponce” and “As Originally Performed by Straight No Chaser – www.sncmusic.com” ) and have fun! Make sure to upload your performances to our site in December – we would love to see them!

thanks for this but i was wondering if you're gonna do this again because my favorite song the you perform is Auld Lang Syne and i my school's jazz choir can do that one

What an incredibly generous thing to do! Thanks, Dan, and everybody, for your support of acapella music! We will definitely do at least a couple of these this Christmas.

You guys are the best! Thanks for sharing your gifts with us! I'll be sure to continue spreading the word and this is just another example of your generosity and passion for what you do. Thanks! Straight No Chaser is truly a class act!

OMG! This MADE my night! What a generous thing to do! You guys are the BEST!

Six flats can either be G flat Major or e flat minor. If we're talking about "What Child Is This?", it's in e flat minor. It's really not that uncommon of a key. Now, when you get to eight flats or more is when it becomes a pain! Thanks guys, so much for the music. I have an all girls choir, so I'm going to see if I can use it for them. So excited!!

My sweetie, (band/music director) is sitting next to me as I read this, & he is stoked! Thanks so much guys!

Wow! And double wow!!!! Guys, you really are amazing! Not only are you so talented but you really have generous hearts. Chasing you because of your talents is one thing but this act of generosity put the level of my admiration of you several notches higher :-). Thank you, Dan, for sharing your masterpieces to us....and to SNC, thank you for lending your talents to make Dan's work come alive! With these early Christmas gift, Walter is indeed correct when he wrote "Christmas season, starting sooner every year!" (Christmas Can Can)

This is very cool! It's fun to see the songs and arrangements we love written out as sheet music. Also neat to look at the sheet music and see the "words" that are sung by the voices that aren't soloing. You're so generous to give away these arrangements that I assume you could be selling instead. I hope some groups respond to your request to upload their performances of your arrangements so we can all enjoy them!

If you do an internet search for "Circle of Fifths" you'll find a "cheat sheet" that will tell you which key is which.

S: Great minds think alike because I thought *exactly* the same thing -- SIX FLATS??!!! Yeah, it's been a very long time since piano lessons as a kid -- and at that I'm sure I never played anything with that many flats. I had a great big ol' grin on my face when I saw this post. How cool is that?, I thought. I have no need for any of these, but for some reason I still like looking at them. And imagining what it would be like to have the musical talent to either arrange or perform them (I have neither).

Thanks so much - SNC is the BEST!

Wow!!! I don't have any purpose for these myself, but this is great! You guys are wonderful! I know how many folks have been wanting sheet music of any kind and will be thrilled to get it as a gift! Thanks to all of you (and Atlantic, if they had to approve this). Wow. Too cool, and I've never even been in a choir. :-D
