The only thing sadder than seeing this article, was actually living here when they called it! Ready to go back to Beaver Creek and fight the blizzard on the ranger station again!

This is so funny. Houston got scared from weather reports and closed down for nothing. Dallas weathermen all said there would be a light dusting of snow in Dallas... woke up to 5 - 6 inches of snow!! #WeathermenFail
They need to come to Canada. Even when there's a major snowfall, the buses may not run but the school's remain open for the kids in walking distance and for those kids who's parents want to drop them off.
Right before all the snow hit, people all over Tx and NM went into such a panic that you would think the world was ending. We really don't know how to react to "real" weather! Don't get me started on the people driving in it!

I live in North Carolina and our school has to wait till there's a blizzard outside before they close.
