Atlantic City Summer 2012

I, for one, am really hoping they'll have a summer run on Broadway! I'll be at EVERY show!! :D Only an hour and 45 min train ride away! :)

I'm new here, and this is my very first post! I would love for them to come back to AC this summer, since the very first show I saw was in AC last year, and it was a fiasco!

I first saw SNC on my local PBS station last year, and was instantly enamored by them. I saw during the pledge drive that one of the "gifts" with your pledge was tickets to a show in AC. I looked it up on Harrah's website and saw they'd be there all summer. I was so excited!! My sister-in-law and I always go to AC in August for our birthdays (hers is the day after mine), so I figured I'd drag her along with me to the show (she'd never even heard of Straight No Chaser, but I can talk her into almost anything). Well, by the time August rolled around, she had just moved into a new apartment and couldn't afford to go to AC. I begged my husband to go, and he eventually said yes! YAY!!

I booked everything and was all set to go, then Hurricane Irene hit. AC was "closed," and the show was cancelled. I was so disappointed. I asked my husband if we could go Labor Day weekend, and he said yes! YAY!! Excited again. Re-booked everything for closing night, but the only tickets I could get were next to the wall. The music was fantastic (of course), but I couldn't see half the stage, and if anything happened towards the back of the stage I couldn't see it at all. I didn't do the meet & greet because I didn't want to subject my husband to me gushing all over 10 other guys.

If they come back this year, barring any other natural disasters, I'm buying tickets as soon as they go on sale so I can get a proper view of the stage, and I'm dragging my sister-in-law with me. So please, please, please, please come back to AC this summer.

When they were in AC last year they did do other cities on their dark nights. I remember them doing Gettysburg, Allentown and a few others. More recently, Ryan was talking about new merchandise and said "we'll have new stuff by AC" . I'm assuming he meant they will be in Atlantic City again this year, but with them-Who Knows?

Eileen - I was thinking the same thing when I saw the post on FB earlier tonight. Actually, my first thought was,"Isn't that normally when they'd be in AC" and then other randomness ensued.
