So...being all the way up here in Canada, I didn't really know how far away all the Chasers were from each other. I had (what I thought was) a brilliant idea to start an interactive map - Chasers, please let me know where you are in the world! To use the map:
1. Click on the link below
2. Click on the Edit button beside the title of the map, "Chasers Unite"
3. Zoom in or out of the map (by using the scroll button on the mouse) or drag the map around (click and drag) as necessary to find your city. Please, no actual street addresses!
4. On the map, click on the icon of the blue push pin (top of the map, in between the picture of the hand and the zigzag line) and place the push pin on your city.
5. A box will come up - enter your name where it says "Title" (username on the site or name Chasers know you by - no real names please!) and click OK.
NOTE: It looks like you will have to log in with a Google account in order to use this map. It is free to set up an account if you don't already have one.
***If anyone needs a hand, drop me a message on my profile and I would be glad to update the map with a pushpin for you.
Any questions, please ask me. I think this will be a fun way to interact with other Chasers to see how spread out we are, or maybe there are Chasers closer than you think!

OMG, I just encountered the
OMG, I just encountered the weirdest thing...when I view the map through "Google Maps" the WHOLE West Coast has NO pins whatsoever! Then I went back in viewing the map through my browser and there were all the western North America Chasers that were missing. I couldn't imagine what happened?!? ;-)

Bumping to the top - with the tour being over I'm sure there are a lot of Chasers from the UK (or elsewhere in Europe) who want to add their blue pushpin to the map! =)
Cadence is wonderful!
I'll check them out. Canadian Tenors do a lot of pop and folk music, too, so you might be pleasantly surprised. No choreography like our SNC boys, though. An added bonus is a couple of hunky guys in the group, if you're into that ;-)
No, not really a fan of opera, I have to say. There's a really good Canadian jazz a cappella quartet called Cadence that I quite enjoy though!

This is great!!! I added myself. However, in trying to view the map, I think I moved a pin accidentally...didn't realize that it was possible to move other blue pins besides your own, so be careful when viewing the map that you don't pick and up and relocate someone who doesn't want to be relocated!!!
Wow - nice to see Europe starting to fill up! Can't tell you how much it pleases me, that this little project I start has really taken off!!
I just updated my pushpin to reflect my current location. The map sure has filled up since June 2011!
Glad to see that there are some more markers in the UK. Hopefully once word spreads about their current tour here, there will be loads more cropping up.
I hope all of the new Chasers from the current UK tour will join in the fun of watching this grow, and make their mark by placing their push pin on the map, where they are from!
I just wanted to stop by and see if this map was still being utilized! Let me say again, and again, and again - it is really one great idea Angie! and so much fun to watch grow and grow!! I hope everyone will make sure to put those pins on this map!
