Ima Dork! I didn't recognize the titles! As soon as the videos came up I realized I knew these songs! They could do any Billy Joel song, Barry Manilow too.... they can put their twist on any song out there! Nice selection!
I only know the last song.... I think I'll go have a listen to the others!
Billy Joel's River of Dreams and Lullaby. Barry Manilows "If I Should Love Again". Love to see what they would do with Meatloaf's "Paradise By the Dashboard Lights" and "Two Out of Three Ain't Bad".

I'm wondering why they haven't done "Tempted" by Squeeze. Heard it on the radio the other day.... it's so perfect for them.... wonder if they did this song in college.... hmm.... I'll keep hoping!
Gina - They did "The Time Has Come" in their "Thank You" album. They should totally re-record the song on their new album :)
Ess - The guys sang "For The Longest Time" on New Year's Eve in Reading. Kary has videos on YouTube!
I'm listening to Twenty Nights and think the guys should do The Time Has Come......

This one has probably been posted before, but I can't wait to hear them cover Bruno Mars - Just The Way You Are. I think it's that drum....thump thump thump in the beginning that excites me so much. lol
The bass & vocal percussion on this song would just be sic!

I saw Huey & the News a few years ago. They're still great, but I miss Chris Hayes on lead guitar. I think he, and the rest of that band, are underappreciated in the music world. Plus, I had a HUGE crush on him in HS & college!
Oh yes, I love Huey Lewis & The News. They have so many great songs. I saw them in concert last year and will be seeing them again in August. Most of the original guys are still with him. They haven't lost a beat. A mashup of several of their songs would be great. How great would it be if HLN would be one of the groups SNC collaborates with. It just gets better.
Would love to hear this group do "The Longest Time," but I know the chance of that are about .05%.
I believe Billy Joel's "For the Longest Time" was the first song the original SNC worked up to sing to their potential faculty advisor at IU.
As far as the show being "too long", I think that was a Harrah's thing. SNC doesn't even do an encore at the AC show. Boo hoo!
Wonder who deemed them "too long" - don't they know we don't mind?!
There are so many fantastic suggestions on that thread. I really like the idea of a Chicago medley, and maybe an Eagles one too, The Temptations..... I know they're doing an 80's hairband medley, but I think it would be awesome if they did a Power Ballad's medley - a little Styx (Babe), definitely Journey (any), some Aerosmith (any), etc...
Huey Lewis and I thought Billy Joel? "If This Is It" was my favorite of theirs when I was in high school, and I love "She's Got A Way" - another great one to serenade some lucky lady with!

Huey Lewis is one of the artists SNC mentioned that they are trying to collaborate with. That would make my day- Huey & the News were my absolute fave group in high school & college! Good thing the internet didn't exist back then, or I'd never have gotten anything done! SNC doing "The Boys Are Back in Town" TOTALLY took me back to my days of going to Huey Lewis & the News concerts. They did a great live cover of that song. Still d, I think. It's been a few years since I've seen HLN in concert.

Oh Gina! You read my mind. I've been keeping a list of songs for each guy. I based it off of their profiles here. Ryan has 'Reminiscing' listed as one of his favorite songs. I originally put it down for Mike, though. I guess they'll just have to fight over it!
