Well kids, it is time to start another love thread (mostly so the other band members do not get too jealous with all the Seggie/Randy love that has been bouncing around this web site but also cuz i was told to start this thread...under threat! Imagine!!!)
Actually, all kidding aside, i feel honored to start this love thread for Dave...or DR, whichever you prefer, because as time goes by, i am realizing how much he brings to the group and also he is terribly...um..well..let us just say, Dave has swagger.
So Chasers, get your love thoughts together and let's hear it for ....(drum roll please)....DAVE ROBERTS!!!!!

@Mary, he was glowing in Gettysburg...not sure, though, if it was love or the billion degrees of heat and humidity. But totally agree that he is smooth on intros and dancing and that swagger (we think he must have bathed in swagger for G-burg...have mercy!)
One thing I have noticed about DR is he is smiling A LOT more in more recent videos, and it looks SO good on him! I don't know if he is happier (love can do that to you), or if he is getting more professional (why certainly!), or what. He has such an infectious smile that I am glad he is sharing it. DR is also very smooth on the intros: one of the best at doing the intros. Now, we just need another solo or two from him.... I also love that he tweets a lot more!! Great Tweets!! Smart ones, too. Although, I love the silly ones, as well. DR has also helped me with some wine selections on #SNCWineWednesday that we Chasers do. I hope he keeps up with the wine tweets. I love that!! I am so happy for him getting engaged!! These are the good old days, DR.
It was so great to see DR in Gettysburg. I gave him a little gift and he seemed to really like it. I just liked watching the smiles. :) I still can't believe how awesome they all are to have even felt like dealing with us after the show as hot as it was. They are too fantastic for words.
I've been watching some of the videos from Gettysburg, and, well, let's just say that I REALLY REALLY REALLY like the VP in Grapevine. That's all I should probably say on a public forum.

Last night I found myself watching a PBS show about some recent economic history and I thought, "Gee, I wonder what Dave would think about this?" Of course, at that point the economy kind of exited my mind to make room for Dave. So nice....(sigh)
I would just like to say that Dave has great taste in engagement rings. :)

I was listening to Dave's Fan Chat interview while I was working and I found myself staring into space, crayon in hand, just mesmerized by his voice. How did all his awesomeness fit into a cubicle at his old job? He can talk, he can sing, he can read a spreadsheet...sigh...
hmm....Dave just mentioned that he knows that Chasers give lots of energy at concerts. So i am thinking the energy at Gettysburg just might blow them off the stage. Whooooooo-Hooooooooooo!!! i cannot wait.
