Stemming off of an idea that got mentioned on Dottie's COTM discussion...if there's one fan/Chaser that deserves their own thread....It's Dottie!!
Secret time: As someone who is going to their first show this fall, but hasn't gone yet, I still find it hard to be called or call myself a "Chaser". It'll come, I'm sure...but....
One of the best people at welcoming me and making me feel like it's ok to be vocal about SNC & how much EPIC WIN they posess even though I haven't seen them live has been Dottie.
Dottie is a very intrical part of the SNC community, & can easily bring a smile to anyone's face. I don't think that anything around this site, FB, Twitter, or anywhere else related to SNC would be the same without her. Let's show Dottie some #ChaserLove because let's face it....When it comes to all things SNC, Dottie = Awesomeness!! #JustSayin'
...Sorry, Dottie's also one of the reasons I've started talking/typing in *Twitter Lingo* in places other than Twitter.... :)

Dottie - You deserve every bit of love you're getting here - And I don't believe any of us Chasers could ever be disappointed upon meeting you - We must all just keep in mind that even the sweetest people in the world need a bit of *saltiness* to balance them out and keep them interesting & every *angel* needs little devil's horns to come peeping out once in a while from beneath their halo - So yes Dottie you are an angel & the sweetest person around but you're also crazy & fun at the same time (thank goodness) - Wouldn't have you or want you any other way
And to your Chaser *sister* Kristin I'd like to throw some love her way too - A true testament to a person's worth is the friends they keep and it's obvious from the love you show each other that awesome people stick together (and get into trouble together too) - A favorite saying of mine goes something like this
A good friend will always show up to come bail you out of jail
A best friend will be sitting there right beside you in lockup
Enough said other than that prison cell will have a few other *besties* sitting beside you except I don't know if it works the same when you try to post bail for Canadians

I had no idea this "Love Thread" existed until now or else I would have posted on here LONG AGO - I will get serious here in just a second but first want to try my hand at some haiku that poet extraordinaire Angie nailed earlier - Here's my ode to Dottie -
"Dottie's oh so sweet
Until you get to know her
And the friends she keeps"
Just teasing Dottie and you ladies who know who you are - Now after kidding around I can get down to business - As many other Chasers have stated before me here Dottie was the first one to truly welcome me on Twitter & introduce me to other Chasers - Even though Chasers are such a friendly bunch it was kind of intimidating to me at first & didn't feel anyone would want an online "newbie" like me around - But Dottie is exceptionally kind & sweet & goes out of her way to friend each and every person who arrives in Chaserville - Her sincerity & warmth was evident right off the bat & her enthusiasm for everything Straight No Chaser is through the roof
I'm so thankful for all she's done for me and all that she does on a daily basis for SNC - Dottie is a gift to the Straight No Chaser machine and should be working on their PR team since nobody does it better or with more love - And to top it off she does all her daily hours of SNC promoting & socializing in her spare time while being there for her family
Chaser Dottie is so many things to so many of us and even though I haven't met her yet I'm proud to call her my friend and proud of the example she sets for all of us on how to be a dedicated respectful & supportive fan of the greatest singing group in the world - With appreciation & love
Ever since Dottie reached out to me on Twitter, she has meant a lot to me! She pry doesn't know it because I haven't said anything- that ends now! Thank you so much, Dottie, for the #ChaserLove!! I'll never forget it!!
I thought this needed to be brought up again! Seriously, no love for Dottie since July?! Hmph! *hands on Hips ~sigh~* Well...let's change that.
There are so many things to like about Dottie without even meeting her (although I contest the fact that I haven't also needs to change...& soon!). She has opened my mind & is never shy of the BEST opinions! I love that. *Hugs* Dottie is also a SUPER great listener & has become, aside from my occasional ranting soundboard...lol, a friend. Which I should mention, she's good at that too! :)

I wrote a Dottie limerick too. It's amazing the number of words that rhyme with "Dottie..."
Dottie is the heart of Chaserville, at least to me. I agree with so many of the words that have already been used...awesome, amazing, a treasure, and absolutely a blessing!!! Hope to meet you some day!
Apparently Dottie doesn't understand why she is great enough to deserve her own Love Thread. I tried to tell her, but I don't think she believes me. She needs to re-read all the comments on here, apparently. Isn't it obvious why everyone loves Dottie?

The reason that is so hilarious? It's the element of truth. A tiny truth, but truth nonetheless. It is part of Dottie's gloriously charming personality - that lights up this website, and Twitter, and when you are with her, any room she is in.
