Greetings Chasers,
As many of you know, Amanda and I ventured to Gettysburg to see Straight No Chaser this weekend. Of course that means that a blog is being written to tell you about all of our adventures! You can check out the first part now at adventuresmadebychasers.blogspot.com
The rest will be posted in the next couple of weeks. It is slow going now that we are back in the "real" world.

Sounds like a plan, Kelli! I know you're planning on going to quite a few AC shows. We will also be there the 18, 19 & 20th of July. Not sure if any of those shows were one's you will be attending too. If not, we will definitely keep in touch here and see you on LDW!!!
I will be at LDW for the last show and I will definitely come and talk to you! I'll be there with my hubby, mom and her hubby...just like G'Burg. I'm excited to see all the Chasers LDW but I'm trying not to count down because then summer will be over and I do love summer. So...I will just have to keep up with you girls through here until then!!
Kelli, you are too kind. I'm glad you enjoy our blog (and our leis). It was great talking to you after the show! Don't be shy to talk to us! I wish we had had more time to chat with you after Gburg. We we're heading back to the hotel for the Chaser meet-up (which you totally should have come to!). We'll definitely have to meet-up again in AC. You will be there LDW, right?

Girls...I LOVE the blog and I loved getting the chance to quickly talk to you in Gettysburg. I'm not a shy person (normally) but when I get to an SNC event, I seem to get all tongue-tied and shy/stupid...lol. I also loved your NYE blog and was sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to you on NYE. You are awesome writers and you both looked so beautiful in Gettysburg...you were both glowing...and not from the heat. I also loved the light-up leis...they were awesome! Can't wait to get to see you again in AC and hopefully I'll have the courage to talk to you a little more. Keep up the great blog!!

@ Pitmanette, Kim's right. We're all chasers, it doesn't matter how many times you've seen them.
@Julie: that really was one of the best lines all weekend. I think what made it so great was the reaction from the rest of us after, just an eruption of laughter. :) so fun! (It's definitely in the next blog entry, btw)
@pitmanette - you don't have to go to any shows to be a Chaser! It's a mentality, an appreciation of the music and in many cases the friendships that form online and in person at times. Yes, there are a few of us who have been to *mumblefritz* shows and there are several who haven't been to a show or have seen them just once live! We are all Chasers, and that includes you!! :)

All we all just nerdy? I love BBT too. Is there a quiz that all Chasers must take? I bet BBT figures prominently. I would love to become a Chaser, maybe if I win the lottery. I literally had to scrape up the money, and then convince my husband it was warranted to take myself and the kids to the Gettysburg show. I made it an early birthday present for Hillary, who will be 23 on June 30th.
But it was worth every penny!
haha Dave- My pictures of the certain owner were taken with my cell phone so they aren't that great when I put them on the computer but we'll see how it plays out lol and I am SO excited for LDW to see everyone again!
Kathleen- Thank you so much for the kind words. Who knew so many people would enjoy reading our silly antics?! :) also, It just made me literally laugh out loud when i read about The Big Bang Theory. I'm thrilled to be associated with TBBT...Favorite. Show. Ever.
Tic Tac Lady, I am so glad that you enjoy our blogs. We began writing them just as a way for us to remember all of our SNC memories. We never really expected people to read them or enjoy them for that matter. It's so much fun to share our experiences with all of you.
I LOVE the fact that the Big Bang Theory reminds you of us! We both love that show...and we're both nerds at heart. SNC and BBT are two of our biggest loves lol.
I just LOVE reading your blogs!! I always feel like I am right there ummm...*experiencing* it all with you! I get the biggest kick out of the *excitement* you have and how you let us all in on it.
P.S. I was re-watching Season 2 of "Big Bang Theory"..and always think of you when I watch anything BBT related. ^ ~ ^ (You never know what you say that people will remember.....!!).

haha Thanks Kim. I've just started writing the next part this morning and some of it is just too funny for me to properly explain so I let pictures do all the talking. Also, I haven't referred to anyone by name only "them" and "they" so far lol. trying not to incriminate anyone ;)
Something tells me that not everything that happened in Gettysburg is going to stay in Gettysburg... but remember, I just *suggested* that shoes be messed with... *I* did not actually do anything to said shoes... lol #innocent ;)
