What I know about Glee I could write on a quarter.
I know it involves music & that music artists have had appearances on it.
That's it.
But, for those of you who do know about Glee, would this be something that would be appropriate for the guys to appear on?
If so, maybe we have another campaign to start?

I would rather they don't... but only because I think they are much, MUCH better than anything Glee does. Then again, I'm not a Glee fan, so... lol
@S I completely agree. When I saw the Britney Spears episode I nearly hit the floor...I'm 21 and even that was too much for me. It could be because I go to school for elementary education and am currently student teaching, but when I saw the Britney episode all I could think was "oh my gosh my students watch this"...and as much as I love Rocky Horror, I couldn't believe they actually did it on the show.
The more I think about it, the more I think that SNC and Glee would not be a good fit. The only thing good I can see coming out of having SNC on Glee would be getting a stronger young fan base. However, I think SNC is capable of doing that without Glee!
Personally, I don't think it's a good "fit" either, and they did just have that other a cappella group. Granted, Glee has a huge fan base, but it is definitely not "family friendly" when it comes to the story lines. While I enjoy many of the musical numbers, it's essentially R-rated TV aimed at kids.
I'm not sure...I like Glee and I love SNC...but I'm not really sure if they would be a good fit with each other. (Although you all are right about the publicity...they would definitely reach a whole new audience.)
I know "mash-ups" are kind of a big thing on Glee. If anything, I think it would be cool for Glee to bring in SNC to show them how to do a capella mash-ups...which of course would feature the 12 Days of Christmas. It could be really interesting now that I think about it. Perhaps we should shoot for a Christmas episode next year?
Kary, you have a very good point!!! The audience they would reach on the show would probably make them even bigger than they already are!! I vote they go onto Glee!!!
The a cappella song from this week's episode went #1 on iTunes!!!! Darren Criss and the Beezlebubs from Tufts University sang it. It would be great for SNC to get on there!!!! Maybe reach an audience that they wouldn't normally reach.
Sheri, I don't know much about it, but I know I've heard that they have guest stars on it, like Madonna & Lady Gaga I think.
The link below from S tells about the show.
They're talking about guest stars for the 2nd season like Carol Burnett & Brittney Spears, & John Stamos.
I think the guys would be great guest stars on the show!
You know, like In their free time...... ;-)
Speaking from what I've read, I would say SNC would be considered professional and not qualify for Glee! But they would sure be great as to what a future in acapella singing might be like. Might be an inspiration for a lot of the young groups that appear on Glee! Donna, I would say SNC is already too big for that kind of competition!
As someone who watches every episode of Glee, it would be really cool to see them on Glee, They could be their competition for Nationals coming up! They just introduced a new group who singing a cappella so i don't know if it would happen, but It would AMAZING to see SNC on Glee!!!!!!!!!!!

If they wait too long, SNC will be way too big for them!
What's the premise or plot of this series?
What do the artists do when they're on?
Is it like a guest spot on any other show?
They either play themself or a character?
I'm behind on this season, but they did an episode that involved a cappella the first season, so I don't know if they'd want to go that way again. And as big as the series is right now, I have a feeling they'd take only HUGE stars. They've already had Josh Groban, Kristin Chenoweth, Idina Menzel(sp?) and Britney Spears (ick! for Britney) and done Madonna and Lady GaGa themed shows. They've had guest shots by younger, newer artists I don't know. Oh, and they've had Neil Patrick Harris...it was amazing when he and Matthew Morrison (the music teacher) sang together. Olivia Newton-John has been on; granted she's not exactly current Top 40, even on "adult contemporary." Does that give you an idea of who they work with?
