With so many new fans of SNC with the current tour, I thought it might be helpful if all of the seasoned Chasers share their best advice and information for the new fans. SNC fans are called Chasers.
You will want to follow the guys on twitter. If you don't have a twitter account, sign up at twitter.com. There are many Chasers who are just on twitter because of SNC (like me). You will want to follow: @sncmusic, @SNCTAT, @SNCFanChat, @SNCQuarternotes, @SNCTbugs, @ryansongs, @randystine, @mikeluginbill, @sncwalt, @charliemechling, @romeifuwant2, @sncseggie, @therealsnctyler, @thedude_snc and @breakofdon. You will see them on there. The guys tweet while on vacation, from their bunks on the tour bus, during intermission of the show, when they have random thoughts - you just never know when they will tweet, but they are highly entertaining. Many of the Chasers are on twitter and share lots of great info and video links.
A good way to find new videos at youtube is to go to youtube.com and type in "straight no chaser, this week" or "straight no chaser, today". That will bring up anything new.
Check the discussion board often. There are many great discussions that I highly recommend reading so that you get to know a little more about the guys. Each of the guys have a love thread discussion, for example, "Mike Love Thread"...they are all entertaining reading! You will find helpful discussions like "Tips on Meet & Greet" by Chasers Megan and Amanda, and "SNC Tell All Tuesdays" where Chaser Dottkov has transcribed and posted where the guys have answered questions for us.
If you have something you are wondering about, just ask. You can reply to this discussion and Chasers will be glad to share info with you. The guys are also really great about answering questions as they can.
This isn't just a website for fans of a band, it is a community of people who are wonderful and who happen to all have incredible musical taste...and are really fond of 10 special guys!

I looked through the discussion topics and didn't find anything about my question, so here goes! Are there any plans for professionally made videos of concerts? I know each show they do has its own little quirks and there's no way "a" video could capture anywhere near all of the fun. And I dearly love seeing the fan videos! But, I'd like to have a whole show I could see whenever I liked! Maybe my best bet would be the PBS show they've done, but wouldn't it be fun to have a whole video of one of their tour performances! Or even maybe an amalgam of a bunch of different shows put together. I bet they could come up with something great along those lines! I love the music, but I love their showmanship and the fun they have onstage, too!

New Chasers - Welcome to Chaserville! You might want to put yourself on the Chaser Map (under discussions, I think). You can learn what other Chasers live nearby and pull resources for concerts!
