I'm not exactly sure why, cause I own both dvds, but I'm sitting here watching the June 2nd pbs showing of the same concert we saw in the spring, & watching the part where they're interviewing the guys & DR's there with Randawg & Cobra this time! ;-)
Hey, web guys, you fixed the edit!
I had my friend come on over to my house to set the recorder since I was out of town, & that's how I found out it was a replay cause it was already set up as I'd set it to record all shows earlier in the year.
Watching them sing again on the stage takes me back to the first time I saw them last fall with the premier of Xmas Live from NY & how my life has changed in 6 months! All the great people I've met here & on facebook, all with this one special common interest.
They're doing that Zombie's song & Rome doing that head thing that's making everyone laugh & Ryan looks like he's trying to not laugh & they go to the audience, & did I just see Lauren Ahlwardt there?
There's this older woman who I don't think even knew who the guys were before she got picked to do the interviews with them & the pledge drive, & she says she's a voice teacher, & she's soooo cute!
She's a little confused on who's who, & the guys are talking to the people calling on the phone, & it brings me back to this spring when I was one of those people getting to talk to Dan & see him wave to me on the tv while talking to me.
I'm such a sap! ;-)
Well, good news is for the Chicago Theatre 12/11 concerts, while they raised the regular tickets from 60.00 to 75.00, they lowered the meet & greets to 100.00 from 110.00.
I had such a wonderful opportunity to do the before show pbs meet & greet, first on the phone to get our tickets & first in line to meet & get my picture taken, I'm going to forego the before show & let someone else have the chance. My aunt & I are going again, but we're going to just get the regular tickets this time.
But, for those who don't know, there may be some of the 100.00 left, don't know, but you're going to have orchestra pit tickets for your 100.00 in addition to the before show meet & greet. If you haven't done it yet, it's worth it, & you won't be sorry, I promise!
