Hey Chasers,
Megan and I were desperately trying to pass the time till our next SNC show and we realized we haven't posted a blog in SO long! So we decided that we would do a post with some fun tips about the meet and greet lines. We had a couple requests from new chasers for this and of course we wanted to help out! We took from our own experiences and came up with what we thought were 10 helpful hints. We also added a special announcement about the one year anniversary of our blog. Please check it out and feel free to add any tips here or on the comments on the blog!
Happy Reading!
-Amanda & Megan

Oh I understand that, that silly grin never ever leaves my face when I'm near them.
I had to keep telling myself "don't stare" don't stare" "get the silly grin off your face" "don't stare"... It really isn't fair that they are ALL so good looking and sweet and kind. How are we not supposed to stumble over our words! ;)
Mary- That happens to the best of us...these are just tips we find help reduce that issue (not eliminate it all together lol).
always glad to help :o)
All well and good until I stand there in their midst. Then, I forget everything I was going to do or say. Oh, well.... :)
LOVE IT!
We figured reading/trying to follow any of these tips was a task that was easier said then done but I'm glad everyone is finding them to be helpful :)
Dave - I added the tip you left in the comments as #11 in the blog. you were, of course, given credit! Striking up a conversation with people around you in the M&G line is always fun and you never know who you might meet!
Thanks for the helpful advice ladies! I will let you know how much they help come December!
Thanks for the M&G hints - I'll try to actually use them if I can concentrate (good luck) while going through the line next time. Appreciate you both!
Sue (yeah, I sat behind you :0 )
Very cool, for sure!
Since becoming a fully-fledged CHASER I have found that M&Gs seem to last about a quarter of a nanosecond to me. Okay, maybe a half a nanosecond. Before the Gettysburg concert I was thinking "oh, I'll ask-so-and-so about this and so-and-so-about that, etc. etc. etc." Never happened. Found myself at the end of the line before I could draw a proper breath. Try to pay as much attention as you can so you can remember details later, and be prepared for unsolicited hugs! :)
Thanks so much for the tips!!!
I'm very giddy with excitement about my next shows. At the first show I went to, I didn't even know they did a M&G, and the second show, I did go through the M&G but not as a "Chaser" so I didn't quite know what to do, and I didn't really end up saying anything. NOW I'm prepared... (...prepared to still not say anything, I'm sure, as all words and rational thought will leave my brain as soon as I'm in the presence of these 10 guys...)
The M & G is almost as wonderful as the concert itself!! Glad you put this out there ladies!!
I'm so glad everyone is still enjoying the blog! I can't believe we've been doing this for almost a year! Hope you find these tips helpful!
Great tips, ladies! I will be going through my second M&G line in Dec and will put them into practice. The first time I thought of questions for each of the guys before going, however, all but one went unasked because of nerves.
These are great tips! I will take them into account at the next M&G since I missed my first one.
HAHA! Thanks Dottie! Way to be on top of things when I am clearly not! It's appreciated!
Here's the link in case you haven't bookmarked it yet!
