If I could send each of you a Christmas card, this is what it would look like: A cartoon character of me in a cheerleader uniform, jumping up in the air with my pom-poms, a huge smile on my face. In order to be festive, the uniform would have to have a Christmas tree on it or something, the pom-poms red & green...maybe I'm even wearing a Santa hat. Not sure about that part.
Under the jumping cartoon cheerleader, it would say: 'Bringing you Christmas Cheer!"
OK, I know it's completely cheesy. Seriously though, that's how I relate to you guys. You are a team, and I am your cheerleader. I want to scream for you when you do well, encourage you when things get rough, and motivate everyone else to do the same.
Now, more then ever, it is a time for cheering. It is the end of the season, and you guys are tired! You have been giving it your best, and you are *still* giving it your best. I, and hundreds like me, am mentally at the sidelines of every "game" with pom-poms, shouting encouragement.
The inside of my card would be more serious. It would thank you again for blessing my life. You have filled my year with new adventures, friends, fun & laughter. And you have given back to the fans more then has ever been expected. You have treated us like friends - remembering our names, the names of our children, asking after the welfare of our families, taking the time to talk with us even when you are exhausted, posing for pictures, signing whatever we shove in front of you - treating each person with respect and warmth and genuine gratitude.
You guys are amazing, and we love you. So as you close your tour, please envision the chasers along the sidelines, cheering you on. You are about to win the playoffs.
Merry Christmas to you & your families! Bless them for sharing you with us! Many blessings to you for the coming year! We are so proud of you! I am proud of you. You have worked so hard & accomplished so much this year. It has been a pleasure watching & participating in your success. May 2012 be your best year yet.

Merry Christmas to all of you guys and your families (as well as those who help you put on such fabulous shows)!
Charlie, enjoy Haydn's first Christmas!!
To my fellow Chasers-same to you. To anyone who celebrates Hanukah, have a wonderful Hanukah too!
Happy Kwanzaa too.
"And also Kwanzaa..." :)
Dottie, I really didn't need to start my day crying!!! lol! You so beautifully, and concisely put into words what so many of us feel. I am so thankful for you too. You are a great ambassador for SNC! I'm right there with you lady, only thing is, my cheerleader outfit has an angel on it instead of a Christmas tree!
I'd only like to add my Christmas wish for each member of the SNC team (significant others, management, lighting, etc.)...May ALL the love that you give (to each and every person and fan along the way) throughout the year return back to you this Christmas and Throughout the New Year of 2012 - TEN FOLD!!! God bless you and your families in abundance!
After "traveling" this last year's milestones with you, I can't wait to see what 2012 has in store for SNC!
You deserve the Best of what Success has to offer!. Thank you for including us so intimately in your travels!
(..I'd better get a new pair of tennies for Christmas, 'cause I've plum worn out this pair jumping up and down, as we Cheerleaders do!!!)
Dottie, What you said, the way you said it...so heartfelt. Now, if peace could find its way around the world, all would be perfect.
Happy Holidays to everyone
Yes! In complete agreement with everything that Dottie said! Straight No Chaser, you guys are absolutely incredible and so generous and thoughtful. Wishing you continued success! Have a wonderfully Merry Christmas! :)
Very well said! Straight No Chaser and the fans have gotten to be one big family and I love it! I hope everyone (SNC and Chasers alike) have a wonderful, restful and Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Looking forward to seeing all of the great things that the year 2012 has in store for each and every one of you!
"God bless us one and all!"
*Sorry, couldn't resist putting in a line from one of my favorite Christmas movies/plays, A Christmas Carol!*
Dottie said this so well. I am so proud to be a Chaser and excited that your sucess has only grown this year. I am sure it cannot be easy to be on the road for months on end and you are ready to go home. You care so much about what you do that those of us seeing you at the end of the tour get no less energy than the people who saw you the first night. Wishing all of you the very best and looking forward to seeing you in Jacksonville.
I couldn't have said it better myself, Dottie. You guys are amazing and are so generous of your time to your fans. Thank you so much for everything you give: memories, fun, laughs, and so much more. I'm going to be at the 2 pm show in Raleigh on Saturday and I hope it's the first step to being friends with you all! You guys are such a blessing and I hope every single one of you has an absolutely amazing, restful Christmas and a fun New Year!
Well said Dottie! There are many Chasers who appreciate SNC and the friendships they've created! Thank you! :)
I couldn't agree more. I think you guys are so great to put on such a fantastic show, then spend hours signing autographs and posing for pictures, then traveling on a bus for hours to the next place! You are amazing men to allow us into your lives the way you do. And your families, also! I thank you so much for sharing a little bit (or a lot, I guess) of yourselves with us. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukka, and Merry Kwanzaa, too! =]
I am completely with Dottie on this one. You guys are amazing and I feel that I can not thank you enough for the blessings you have given me. I have a whole new group of friends that I would have never had the chance to meet (even if it is mostly online at the moment) and your music never fails to make me smile or my son dance. Merry Christmas, may it be full of family and cheer and most of all rest. You guys deserve it! Hope to see you again sometime next year!
Ditto exactly what Dottie said!! I love you guys!! I hope you guys have a Merry and Restful Christmas full of family and big dreams for the New Year!! I hope to see you guys again soon somewhere down the road... (Maybe in Buffalo! :D)
