    Power Ballads

With this year drawing to an close and the endless possibilities of the upcoming year, here's hoping the guys bring back The Hair Band Medley with a twist perhaps? - The Power Ballad Medley. I really enjoy hearing all the musical genres these guys do, and more often than not, do better! So here's hoping arrangements can be made to my list (any list!) of songs I think each of the wonderfully gifted men of Straight No Chaser could put their fabulous vocals to:

    Aerosmith's Dream On - Mike

Meatloaf's I'd Do Anything For Love (But I Won't Do That) - Jerome

Def Leppard's Bringing On The Heartache - Tyler

    Sheriff's When I'm With You - Seggie

Styx's Babe or Lady - Ryan

Foreigner's I Want To Know What Love Is - Don

    Bryan Adam's Heaven - Dave

Survivor's The Search Is Over - Walter

Whitesnake's Is This Love - Randy

Creed's With Arms Wide Open or Higher - Charlie

Extreme's More Than Words - Mike and Dave

Kansas' Dust In The Wind - Ryan and Don

Styx's Too Much Time On My Hands - group (I know this isn't a ballad, but these guys can sing anything!)

This topic is completely open for suggestions! Would love to hear them!

Any of these songs will be wonderful to hear. They are very gifted singers and I know that whatever they sing, it will be great!

Cool! Great selections, ladies! Keepin' my fingers crossed that we will get to hear some of these tunes sung by these terrifically talented men!

Oooh, all for Moody Blue's Knights in White Satin! One of my favorites!

I'd suggest:

To Be With You - Mr. Big
When The Children Cry - White Lion

I love your list, too, Gina.

I'm not sure if all of these could be called power ballads....

Night Ranger's Sister Christian
Moody Blues' Knights In White Satin
Switchfoot's Dare You To Move
The Doors' Touch Me
Metallica's Nothing Else Matters
30 Seconds to Mars' From Yesterday
Blondie's Call Me

Great list, Gina! I'm definitely with you regarding "Higher," "More Than Words," and "When I'm With You."

I love this idea! My suggestion: Love Song by Tesla & I Remember You by Skid Row
\\mm// Rock on!

Awesome list, Gina! I think that Styx's Lady would help Ryan showcase what he's capable of vocally. As far as Aerosmith, there are so many good songs, I don't know where to start! I'll have to come back to them later. I think you've got something with Def Leppard, but again, I'll have to get back to them later. I love the Creed selections, but I think Higher would be best. I never would've thought anyone would've said Kansas! Dust in the Wind is great, but don't forget Carry on Wayward Son. I have more here, but I want to wait until I have my whole list set. I've got so much more!
