Question for experienced Chasers

    Question for experienced Chasers

My best friend and I are going to our first SNC concert on Decmeber 17th. I'm super excited! I'm looking for advice as to wether I should worry about getting all the songs on video, or if I should just sit back, relax and enjoy the show. I'm afraid that if I'm worried about getting video, I'll miss something from trying to get my camera to work and things like that. But if I don't record it, I'm afraid something awesome will happen and I won't be able to see it again. Any advice?

Also, any Chaser's going to be there? I'd love to meet some of yall!

    Thanks! -Kelly

Make sure you don't just focus on the one singing. The guys in the background are usually clowning around or trying to make each other laugh during the song and their antics will keep you laughing.

Before I even read the posts I was going to mention that there will likely be other Chasers getting video! (Kristin!). Definitely sit back and enjoy - you'll be so glad you did!

While I'm sure you will both have a blast, I can't wait to hear all about it @KellyMarie1118! (details appreciated!!) Enjoy! :-)

Thanks everyone! And I'll be sure to let everyone know how my first SNC experience goes! :)

Thanks for starting this discussion Kelly, my first show is coming up soon and I was wondering the same thing! I can't wait to hear about it!

Hi KellyMarie1118! I went to my first show last month and I did video most of it. I would not advise doing it. Follow the other advice on here. Just go and soak it in. Then later at other shows you can pass it on to others by videoing. I loved the video I got, but I also wish I would have just been completely undistracted for my first experience. Another cool thing you could do is blog (or post a discussion) about your experience - we love to read about people's first concert!

@EileenR LOL! "(You'll notice I didn't say "if" you go into withdrawal!)" ;-)

@AngieTheCanuk @Kayzie Thank you so much for the answer. Next show I'm definitely staying until the end. Can't wait to see them again!!

@HairCesar87: Angie gave you the answer to your question. (Angie~Thanks for doing that~~I had to take my post Thanksgiving nap :). As you can see, Chasers are a great group of people who love helping other Chasers have the most fun at a concert... Enjoy the next concert.

Definitely sit back & enjoy the show. There are enough other people's videos on YouTube for you to get a "fix" when you go into SNC withdrawal later. (You'll notice I didn't say "if" you go into withdrawal!)

Hey Kelly! I'll be at that show! Just watch and enjoy; I'll take plenty of video! (@1998_Hokie)

HI Kelly! I agree. Relax and enjoy! With ten of these men, you really have to be paying attention!! Have a blast and keep us posted, will you?

Also, under the tour section, you can click on "more info." and find what other Chasers will be there for that concert, and of course, include yourself! A lot of Chasers get together that way and make plans to meet before and/or after the show! (You can go to their profiles, as well!) It seems to be just another part of the wonderful world of Chasers, and Chaserville! Maybe you can also find out who else might be video taping, and posting, so you can re-live your wonderful night!

@HailCesar87 They will do group pictures after everyone is through the meet and greet line, so it's best to be at the end of the signing line if you want a group pic, or you could just hang around after your through until they are done.

@Kayzie Do you have to wait around for the group picture? My first concert was a couple of weeks ago and I had my picture taken with the guys individually but I didn't know if they were having group pictures. I was tad shy to ask about it.

@KellyMarie: Since this is your first concert, just sit back, relax & enjoy! There is so much to see & hear, it is hard to catch everything, even if you are just watching. More concerts are definitely in order. You will want to take your camera and/or video recorder to catch some moments at the Meet & Greet line after the concert. There is a huge possibility that you can have your photo taken with the guys afterwards. ENJOY THE SHOW!!!

I agree. Just relax and enjoy. I just saw the show Wednesday and they guys were in rare form (onstage antics). If you worry about video, you'll miss all the stuff going on behind whoever is singing.

I had this same delimma with my first concert last year. Being that it is your first time seeing the group live don't worry about taking video; just sit back, relax, and take everything in. I was so excited at my first show it is probably a good thing I didn't try to take any video. I did, however, take a digital camera with me...you will want one with you for the meet and greet afterwards too.
