The other week my sister and i were having a discussion about SNC. I told her that someone on twitter ask DR if he would wear a kilt at the edinburgh show, and he said that he would if he was given one to wear. And then my sister said to me that mike would look very good in a kilt. and my reply was that all the guys would look in a kilt So my sister said back to me that she would love the guys to wear kilts even if it is just for one song. And i must admit i would love it to happen as well.
But if it does happen, i just worry how my filters will kept in place.
Also a while ago I had a dream where Mike is sitting on a sofa in my house wearing a kilt. And the rest of the guys were getting fitted for kilts
They are doing only two shows in Scotland and I assumed this idea was only for these two dates/cities - I know I got in on this discussion because a lot of us think men look hot in kilts and our ten guys are already hot so we can only imagine how much sexier they'd look in kilts
Since they say "When in Rome do what the Romans do" we were hoping Straight No Chaser would do as the Scots do (that or eat haggis) LOL

I agree with you guys about seeing them in kilts for one song. Or for their concert in Scotland. But certainly not for the whole tour! lol
I'm not sure I understand all this kilt envy for SNC. If you want to see men in kilts, then catch Celtic Thunder. One song? Maybe. (What song would they do?) A whole tour, well, ummm no. They're not a Scottish a cappella group. Just my opinion. You can turn your filters back on when you respond to this. LOL
@fab4tune Awesome idea. Claire and I are wanting the guys to wear kilts for at least 1 song.
@TraciP - Glad you were able to get that *filter* working (we've all had to use ours) - Actually for Americans in Scotland BOXERS or BRIEFS are definitely optional - To get all ten of them in kilts I think fans would even allow bike shorts if that makes our guys more comfortable donning a skirt-like article of clothing
I don't think they'd want to do the whole show in kilts maybe just a quick wardrobe change before coming out for the encore -And they'd still be wearing them during the M&G *wink*
As much as I'd like to see them in kilts, I keep picturing them trying to dance in them. And you know the age old question, "What does a Scotsman wear under his kilt?" And my mind... FILTER! Oh, thank God it worked this time! ;)

They know how much it would please the Scottish fans to see SNC in Kilts (and all us Chasers who would benefit from the photos) so I would hope the show promoters could get their hands on ten kilts (on loan) - Our guys are most definitely crowd pleasers and I can't think of anything that would endear them to the local audience more - I'd contribute but I'm flat broke until end of month (can give something then) - Promoters & the theaters themselves have amazing connections and access to all sorts of clothing & costume options - Keeping my fingers crossed it happens

i think kilt hire is about £70 for one kilt. I might start a fb campaign to get them to wear kilts in Edinburgh

OMG! I think they should do their whole fall tour kilts! That would be simply awesome! I would have serious problems with my filters though!
