@mama2josh23 I immediately thought of SNC on that commercial. It's also one of my favorite songs!!
I have to admit that Madonna did a good job but would much rather have SNC sing Like A Prayer.
Madonna is singing "Like A Prayer" right now.... feel a little sad because I want to see the guys on that stage, especially Mike belting out that song!
Ok.... so even though I would have definitely rather have heard SNC sing it, I think that Kelly Clarkson did a pretty good job. She didn't butcher the song like others have in the past. And she remembered all the words. She kept the song pretty true to how it should be sung without adding too much "personalization" too it.
On a side note, the SB Hyundai commercial.... did anyone else see it? Where everyone starts (acapella) singing the theme song to Rocky.... the guy that they are singing to kind of reminds me a little bit of Walt. LOL
I hadn't heard who was doing the National Anthem, but Madonna's doing halftime.
Since the Superbowl is Feb 5th & they're scheduled to start their UK tour on that day, I don't think it's gonna happen. :( It would have been nice, though.
I would love to hear and see SNC sing the national anthem at the Super Bowl. Their arrangement is perfect. I heard that Kelly Clarkson was going to sing the national anthem as well.
I heard Kelly Clarkson is singing the Anthem this year, but I have high hopes that SNC will sing at the Superbowl one day!
