No, this is not how to get therapy for your SNC obsession...although many of our spouses/family members/ co-workers believe we need it. LOL When you are having one of those days and nothing seems right in your world do you have an SNC song(s) you turn on to help make things right again?
I was thinking back to this time last year when I was in the hospital for complications due to my diabetes. What should have been a 3 day stay for turned into 2 weeks stay. There were days I didn’t know how long I going to be there and how adversely it was going to change my life. I only had a few SNC songs on my iPod at the time; however, listening to those songs is what kept me sane.
Now when a need a little SNC therapy I usually listen to “Fix You.”

Aww...thanks Terry! {{hugs}}
So sorry you are down right now Tori. Sending a few special thoughts your way and I know that listening to "the guys" always brightens up any bad day that I am having. {hugs}
Going through a bit of emotional turmoil lately. Been putting SNC music (including Christmas tunes, old IUSNC CDs,as well as Mike and Ryan's solo albums) on-loop on my ipod. Really helps to cheer me up.
I noticed especially that the Jackson 5 medley brings a smile to my face. Thank you SNC for brightening up my day.
haha Dave- we're so good now. we've had lots of practice!
Megan - you'll have to show me,,,,maybe I can pick up something new!
Dave- LOL!!!
Megan- Did you get any tips for your routine?
No tips, but I'm still convinced that's why we got into our hotel room an hour early haha.
Dave- you sound like Amanda and I. We sang Hi-De-Ho while waiting for our hotel room on Sunday...including dance moves. People didn't know what to make of it, but we were so excited to be going to the show we didn't care.
HAHAHAHA love it Dave! and yes I can picture you doing that heehee
oh Carla - I don't put anything on.....I just sing it.....makes for some real interesting office talk.......just imagine you working and then all of a sudden, you start to hear someone *try* to sound like Jerome singing "you're a mean one.....you're a mean one......you're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" and its not even close to Christmas.....lol
It's really, really hard for me to pick just one song, I put albums on at work when I am there when I can before we open and its an instant pick me up no matter what song :-)
hahaha Dave: The "do's" in the beginning of Hi De Ho are my favorite part to sing. Megan can vouch for me when I say, I am CONSTANTLY singing that song.
a number of snc tunes come into my *ADD* mind when I'm having a tough day that I sing (usually at work - get some weird looks at times but they're used to me (sometimes).
Hi Dee Ho (including Bass "do's" in the begining)
Tainted Love (but only the slow bridge at the end -
"Don't touch me please - I cannot stand..."} - weird, I know
You & Me & The Bottle Makes Three
and probably the number one snc tune to get me through the moment at work
You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch (strange looks from the bosses - but they're used
to me too - or not)
I think there is another song you will listen to over and over Megan!
YouTube and the fact that we can record SNC shows has probably been the best thing for my SNC therapy. Prior to my trip to AC this week, my go to SNC therapy video was the Jersey Boy medley from Harrah's last year. It never fails to make me happy when I'm feeling down. I have a feeling there will be many more songs added to my SNC therapy list after this week though. Their new Harrah's show is absolutely mind blowing!
Jen, I agree with you about the SNC therapy. I was in the hopital for almost 3 weeks this past March/April. My husband always made sure my MP3 player was charged and I would listen to them at night when I couldn't sleep (which was most nights). Favorites are Fix You, Bridge Over Troubled Water and Like a Prayer. The guys really got me thru some long nights.
I'm with @Terry ... I'm Yours. Watching the Christmas Can Can always gives me a laugh. T he PBS video always picks me up. Any SNC song brings "Good Vibrations" for me!
I love Fix You, The Man Who Can't Be Moved, Up On The Roof, and Like a Prayer during my SNC therapy sessions. :)
I think when I need a boost the most, I'm yours comes to mind. Not only is the voice absolutely amazing but I do love the words to the song.
"Well, open up your mind and see like me, open up your plans and damn you're free, look into your heart and you'll find love love love love, listen to the music at the moment people dance and sing, Were just one big family, And it's our godforsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved
Welcome to Chaserville!
"Can't Take My Eyes Off Of You" is my happy song
