Does anybody know where SNC gets their song arrangements? I know they arrange a lot of them themselves...
I'm asking because, after I saw the concert here in Ottawa Canada on Friday, I found myself wishing that I could introduce them to some uniquely Canadian a capella, and thought about sending them a Moxy Fruvous album. I went chasing SNC Youtube videos and came across this gem:

Around the 4:30 point, they break into the Spiderman theme, and it is the exact same arrangement that Moxy Fruvous uses, including the spoof verse about the special interest groups... Does this mean that SNC are acquainted with Moxy Fruvous already? Because that would just be so amazingly cool. Or did Fruvous get the arrangement from somewhere else? It is a secret track from their Bargainville album.

Anyone have any insight on this?
Thanks!
Kat

Isn't Spiderman on *goes to check* their self-titled album? If someone has the physical album, wouldn't the credit for the arranger be on the jacket? Or what? Hmmm. I'll have to ask...
Now I have "Spiderman" stuck in my head. Not that I'm complaining. :-)
For some reason I'm thinking Charlie arranged Spiderman, but I could be wrong. #nohelpwhatsoever lol
So interesting!! I can't wait to see where this discussion leads & what enlightenment we can gain because of it!
Kat: The first video you listed is from the SNC college days which goes back to 1998! I think back in those days, Dan did most of the arranging, but I could be wrong. The other one you mentioned is totally unfamilar to me. I have the orginial CD from the college days which is amazing--the guys were terrific back then and did amazing shows for a bunch of college guys with no experience!
