I thought it would be nice to discuss this topic here, for those of us who aren't on Twitter. Also, now that SNC has a fairly large repertoire of songs they have sung, I'd like to open this discussion up to include ANY songs you've seen them perform, not just the current ones.
Here is my list. I'm sure I will add to it...

I think I read somewhere that it's difficult to get permission to record medleys, and I'm sure they can't get permission for everything they perform, but we can dream, right?

Ryan did a mini TAT on his Twitter account tonight. Dottie posted the Q's and A's on her Tell All Tuesdays discussion. Thought a few were pertinent here:
Hillary: Will a CD be released w/majority of the songs performed at Harrah's?
Ryan: No, but the new PBS special was filmed at Harrah's and will feature a lot of the show's highlights.
Sara: Hi Ryan! Any ideas as to when the new cd could come out?
Ryan: We're trying to get new music out this fall. Stay tuned!
Kate: How far along are you w/the new album?
Ryan: About 30% along, I'd say. Good stuff getting tracked.
Katie: Do you still do record alone on the side when not on tour with SNC? I really love your solo stuff. :)
Ryan: Thanks! I'm going to release a solo side project next year. Just gotta find time to track the songs!
Angie: Tracking brand new stuff, or recording stuff that you've done on previous tours?
Ryan: Yes.
I was very happily surprised to see him say they are trying to get new music out this fall!!! I have no idea how long it takes to record & produce an album, so that is way sooner than I expected to possibly have a new recording of SNC in my hands. Also awesome to see that he hopes to put out new solo material next year. WOW! With the fall tour, new PBS special, and all this recording, it feels like Christmas has come early to Chaserville!

Yesterday Ryan tweeted: There's laying down a solo in the studio and there's owning a solo in the studio. @mikeluginbill is doing the latter incredibly well.
And Don tweeted: I have a feeling a lot of people are going to like what @mikeluginbill is laying down in the studio right now. Dude is killing it.

Eh, who'm I kidding? I'll NEVER be able to wait that long - I'll have to have that new CD the *second* it's released! I'm incredibly intrigued as to what they have been recording in the studio over the weekend! Are they brand new songs? Are they reworking some stuff from AC? Are they reworking some stuff from the last tour? I don't know how I'll be able to stand the wait!

The Harrah's show was only about 75 to 90 minutes long. Most of what they performed for the PBS show was from the summer Harrah's show. Since they are making it into 2 specials, I am hoping much of it will be in one or the other version of the special. Hopefully they will include extra songs on the DVD like they did last time, too.
Eileen, you said, "Most of the stuff from this summer's show will be on the PBS special," but unfortunately, that's not exactly accurate. This came up somewhere a while back, and I think it was Ryan who said they would only be able to include 57 minutes of performance on air because of PBS timing regulations (so they can get all their 15-minute ads in!). :-\ Disappointing.
I'd like to have Dan do "All My Life." Don't know if they can do that, though. LIke the idea of the National Anthem, too.

Eileen, aaww shucks, what a shame a two disc cd. Maybe they'll make an enhanced cd that's a dvd and puts on some interesting q&a, along with videos.

Rebekah.... I just watched it today.... a little bit before reading your post... but thank you! I can't think of any songs that they wouldn't sound amazing performing! And of course I would buy it.
Oh, yeah- "Get Ready" & "Boys are Back in Town". We have the makings of a 2-CD set going on here!
If possible, how about Come Together/Drive My Car individually in there entirety?
Considering they could sing the ABC's and all sorts of kiddie songs and we'd snatch it up in a hurry, they can record whatever they want and I'll still buy it. The ballads are great and I want those as well, but I'd like to hear a few other styles on the new cd. A few tracks that are good for when I'm driving and or working out and need something more rocking-the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Jackson Five songs.

Of course, Michael nails this one with his solo, but the arrangement is THE best. The blend of all ten of the guys is definitely like being in the presence of a choir of angels (albeit with slanted holos)
