I went back a ways and didn't find the page, so I'm going to re-start the one on "what songs would you like to hear the guys do?" (Not going for a full album, as a recent thread asked.) ;-) There will be knowledgeable folks to tell us if they've already been done, either when at I.U. or later.
"I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends"
"I Say a Little Prayer" (Dionne Warwick - I can see Jerome on lead!)
How about a good send-up of "You're So Vain?"

I'd love for them to do a funny medley of the most annoying/can'tgetthemoutofmyhead songs ever. Like 7 Things by Miley Cyrus, Friday by Rebecca Black, etc... Or maybe do a love song medley!! :)
Ooh, Shaina, I was just watching the YouTube video for "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth" by David Bowie and Bing Crosby. Love that song!
ide like to hear their take on The Hollies " He ain't Heavy He's My Brother". I think Michael and Ryan would kill on this one.
Baby it's cold out side...have they done that...I like that song
"Thankful"-the Josh Groban song
"Grown Up Christmas List"
"Away in a Manger"
"I Hope You Dance"
A Simon and Garfunkel medley.
I must say though it's so nice how the guys see these and take the time to record them and or incorporate them into the show. Thank you guys!
Oh, and Jim Croce - yes!
"Mary Did You Know? is a good one! I think of Kenny Rogers with that, and I think maybe Amy Grant has done it. There have been several covers of it; I don't know how first wrote it or popularized it.
What about some Jim Croce stuff? Or some Billy Joel? New York State of Mind could be awesome.
There is a Christmas song that I absolutely love. You don't hear it very often, and I am sure some people have never heard of it. However, Rascal Flatts sang it on the CMA Christmas Show this week. It is "Mary Did you Know".
Not a huge fan of Little Drummer Boy, but what they could do with the bass and background! Or how about "Do You Hear What I Hear?" That would be a good one for them. That could have some excellent harmonies.
I'd love to hear a cover of "Little Drummer Boy/Peace on Earth" by David Bowie and Bing Crosby. I'm getting in the Christmas spirit, and that's one of my all-time favorite Christmas songs! :)
They have September in their current Earth, Wind, and Fire medley, and they also have a "rat pack" medley right now, including Jerome and Charlie doing "Me and My Shadow."

I would love to hear them do September by Earth Wind and Fire or My Girl by the Temptations. Have they ever done a Sinatra melody? It would be great to hear them sing Come Fly with me, Fly me to the moon, and You make me feel so young.
@naynaylu I thought it would be good song from them to sing just to see what antics they come up with lol. They could have so much fun with that one.
@hailcesar the safety dance would be AWESOME
I wish they would sing Brian McKnight's "Can You Read My Mind." I think the SNC members covered it at IU around 2000/2001?? There's a clip of the performance on the DVD that was put out several years ago. Just that small clip of this song was amazing!
Or...how about "I'm Already There," by Lonestar? ;-)
Listening to "Someone Like You" by Adele this morning made me interested in hearing the guys do a version of it.
AND how about a Katy Perry medley -- "Teenage Dream" and "Last Friday Night" are the ones that come to mind!
They've done Gaga, so why not other ladies? :)
I'm not sure if this was mentioned before either but what about "We Will Rock You" by Queen or "The Safety Dance" by Men Without Hats.
Not sure if these were mentioned before, but I'd LOVE to hear them do "Better Days" by Goo Goo Dolls... or "Invisible Man" by 98 Degrees (maybe that's just the teenybopper in me).
And someone mentioned Rascal Flatts -- I would LOVE to hear them sing "I Won't Let Go"!!
How about a little Sting/Police? Possibly "Message in a Bottle" or "Wrapped Around My Finger" (don't know if that's the correct title). Music to melt by...
That's probably one of the few songs from that show I don't know by heart, because there are so many singers and it goes so fast. I would have guessed it be to called something like "The Music Man."
@S.Brandon, I had to look the name of it because I had no idea. The song is from the Broadway play/movie Music Man. It's a really cool song! I love the "big brass bass, big brass bass, and the piccolo the piccolo..." part.
HailCesar87, that's what that song is called? I grew up listening to that album (well, my parents listening to it), and I never knew the name of it. Where does that come from, do you know? ("He's a what?" "He's a what?" "He's a music man! And he sells clarinets to the kids in the town..."" Another good one would be "Ya Got Trouble."
I was just thinking of the Music Man last night and I thought it would be so cool if they did they opening song "Rock Island." The one where the salesman are on the train and they sing to the "beat" of the train. I think i would be so cool and interesting to see what they come up with.
"The Lazy Song" by Bruno Mars with Tyler on Solo
Or even "The Ballad of the Green Berets" that would be great!
It would be great if they did "Heroes" by David Bowie
Sarah S., the idea of a military tribute song has come up a number of times, so I hope they'll consider it. I think they could do an amazing job of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic."
Has anyone mentioned "I'm Already There" lately? ;-)
I was just thinking how they have "The National Anthem" which is a tribute to patriotism, so it might be nice to do a tribute to the troops by doing an army song like "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon" I don't care who does it, anyone of them would sound great.
