It's 2 am and I'm sitting here in my hotel room at Harrah's thinking back on tonight and also thinking back in general.
Most years I dread my birthday because events that has happened close to it that brought alot of sadness and loss. After some hard life times of my own these past 2 years and then finding SNC and having a sense of joy with music I had lost I could not think of a better gift to myself then to see them on my Birthday. My initial plan was to come to AC have a quiet dinner alone and go to the show. Needless to say my plans were altered.
Two years ago I would have never thought I would have the extended family I have now; people who truly accept me as I am and care. If not for SNC none of these people would be in my life.
I want to thank Tara, Marna and Jenn for spending my birthday with me, making me laugh and truly giving me one of the best Birthdays I have had in many years.
I also want to thank Michael, Jerome, Dave, Tyler, Seggie, Charlie, Randy, Ryan, Don, Walt and Korby. Each of you have been kind gracious and caring in so many ways. Not just on my Birthday but each time I have had the good fortune to see the show. I don't think any of you appreciate the positive impact you have. Just know that this is one "chaser" who is uplifted everytime I see you perform. And yes at times parts of the performance brings tears but tears are not always a bad thing.
i am very humbled and grateful for the friends I have made through SNC. Each and everyone will be in my prayers and just know my life has been made so much better for having known all of you.

Cindy - you are truly one classy lady. I knew that the day I met you and the other lovely chasers. Your caring ways shine through and true. I'm so glad that this birthday was filled with the joys that the past did not. I hope that every birthday (and every single day) from here on will be filled with as much love, joy, friendships, happiness and music as this one did.

Cindy, I am so glad I had the opportunity to finally meet you a few weeks back in Atlantic City. From the moment we met, I felt like I have known you forever. You are such an amazing, kind and generous women. I was so excited that we were able to sit front row together for both nights shows. You told me then that you were planning on spending your birthday quietly there in AC. I am so glad you were very wrong. Sending you love and many, many more exciting birthday's to come. {{hugs}}

Wow. Cindy. That is just wonderful! I had the best time in the few short times I have been with you! Happy Birthday Cindy, my next door seat partner at State College ;-) You put it quite well how much SNC means to all of us and how welcoming, caring and loving the Chaser family is to each other. You are right. I don't believe the guys have any idea just how much of an impact they have had on soooo many lives. They need to take care of themselves, so we can keep them a long, long time.

Well @Cindy - I am glad you posted this, even if it does have me crying!! I am so glad you now have better memories of your birthday than those of the past! What better ones than those coming from Love! I hope each birthday from now on finds you surrounded with that love and nothing but warm memories! There is alot of healing with SNC. Their music alone heals much, along with their laughter. Congrats on your extended family and a Happy Birthday!
Wow...such powerful words, Cindy. It was a pleasure meeting and spending time with you while I was in AC. You are a truly special lady. I'm glad you had such a wonderful birthday. We are all blessed with the friendships we have made through SNC. I agree with you, I don't think the men of SNC fully appreciate the positive effect they've had on all our lives.
