Ive read alot of the discussions where obtaining tickets has been an issue and a challenge. Ive had this same problem. Although it makes me a little sad; I'm also very happy for this group of talented men who have touched so many with their voices style and personalities. Ive given up on finding tickets close to where I live and since I don't have the cash sources to pay the high prices ive seen on ebay and other ticket venues. ive called individual venue sites but they had nothing to offer.
In my 52 years ive never had any desire to go see a live concert until now. It would seem it is just not ment to be so I will just enjoy the music and this site. God bless each of you and to the whole SNC crew thanks for making all this happen. Safe travels as you start your Spring tour.

Try the local pbs station website if they're running the SNC concert this month.
They have tickets plus a limited number of meet & greet tickets.
Also, check back on the tour dates, cause chicago started out with only 1 show, & now has 3 concerts scheduled.
They've been selling out quickly & they've been adding additional shows.
Also, maybe showing up the nite of the performance may be a way. There may be people going who have extra tickets & may be hanging out in front trying to sell them.
And, maybe they'll be cheaper. I'd think as the dates for these shows come closer, the sellers may lower the prices in the hopes that they'll be able to sell them & not get stuck with them.
The guy on ebay with the .99 start & $60 shipping is just trying to save on his ebay fees. They get charged a percentage of the selling price, not the shipping. And, the $60 is a good price for them I think, as I believe that's either the exact price, or close to the price of the tickets.
Cindy, I hope you get a ticket! If not, & you weren't able to record the concerts on pbs, I recorded them both for my own use. It's not professional or anything, with breaks in there & everything, but I'd send you a copy. Just send me your email & we'll connect that way.
On a side note, sunday I got to talk to Dan Ponce at the pbs station during the pledge, & I have the recording of him waving to me on tv. I know, kinda lame, but I too haven't been this giddy over a group since the Monkeys, & I turned 50 in February! I was in love with Mickey, not Davy like everyone else as he'd come up to about my chest! ;-)
Hey, if there's anyone who needs 1 ticket for the Portland May 17th concert, I have one I can sell to you! I got it at the box office so u don't have to pay the extra $8.
It's unfortunate to hear that there are problems obtaining tickets. I wonder if this is mostly in the larger venues, but it's hard to tell since I didn't see a lot about locations when I scanned the posts. On one hand, it's good to know the group's doing so well, but you hate to see scalpers and scammers get involved.
I was pleasantly shocked to discover that SNC would be playing a show anywhere in my neck of the woods (well, 2 1/2 hours away.) I had no problem obtaining tickets for the Mobile show, even if I did have to pay Ticketmaster's absurd fees. At any rate, I'm looking forward to May!
depending on where that guy is from, there may be laws about "overselling" on ticket prices. Could be a work-around for getting the price he wants.
He probably could have posted the tickets for the list price and still gotten the $60 shipping??
Can people really be that naiive and ignorant? Geez, AMericans
Keep checking back with the local venue. Call on show day. People may have extra tickets they can't use or they can't go and they turned in the ticket so someone else could use them.
Went to eBay to look, and there are all kinds of SNC tickets for sale, averaging around $100 apiece. One guy had his listed for 99 cents, and I thought, "this can't be right." It might have been; if you looked far enough, you saw that his "shipping fee" was $60. What an idiot.
Thanks for adding the other shows.
S, yea, it does. But sadly there's not much people can do about it, other than just not buy from them. The labels don't care as long as the money's there, which makes the problem worse because it jacks up the fee for those who are true fans and can't get them because of scalping and other ridiculous add on costs. I mean it costs extra to print out your own ticket-give me a break here!
David, Thank you for Sacramento and Campbell (San Jose)!!!! Can't wait to go to both.
See I feel that we should just get previews of the whole CD and not just tid bit teasers like they have been. But sticklers might do that too. Who knows, even at my age I know how corrupt americans can be, even in the passion of music.
Lauren, you're right, and that stinks. :-\
S, even if that was the case, many scalpers would join just to get the tickets. It stinks but it happens all of the time with paying websites.
Not related to ticket sales just a small call out to remember the "Hope for Haiti" special aitring tonight.
Fans registered on this site should get a shot at advance sale tickets!

If this happens, *please* consider adding a date at the University of Florida in Gainesville on May 2nd, the open date between Orlando, Florida and Mobile, Alabama. Gainesville is on the way up I-75 to I-10...
*pleads* ;)
David thanks for the update. Regardless of whether i get to see them "live" or not i'm gonna be a die hard fan. The vocals are amazing and the personalities really shine.
It's nice you are booking more venues but my concern is for their voices and overall health. So please if it means we as fans have to wait a little longer to see them , then thast fine with me because ide rather they be around for a long time then have them over push themselves.
I think we as fans need to remember that these young talented men have families outside of all of this. I as a fan do not want to take away from their time with their families. There really needs to be a balance between the two.
SNC and all those who work behind the scenes I thank-you for bringing your talants to us. my prayers are with you all as you start this new tour.
I forgot to add that I lived in Indiana, northwest area, for sixteen years. The "Indiana" song that Dan wrote almost brings tears to my eyes as I haven't been back in nine years to visit friends who still live there. WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE!
Cindy,
I can relate to a lot of what you say. As a retired school teacher, now a widow, I'm not one who has gone to a concert in many years. BUT haven't listened to their music since they had the YouTube explosion, I wanted to get hold of anything they did. Still have their Christmas albums in my car deck and still listen to them when I'm traveling. I did buy tickets and plan to be at the Norfolk concert in April. CAN'T WAIT! This is a special group that has a class that few performers possess these days. They are special and deserve all the accolades they are getting--hopefully they are having some fun along this path!
Thank your for touching base with us on this, David. Obviously it has become an area of concern for many fans. It's good to know that you are aware of what is happening and trying to make sure that "regular" fans get a chance at reasonably priced tickets. (I'm fine with PBS raising money via musical artists, but not everyone can afford their required "donations.")
I have seen the recent notices of added shows and moving to bigger rooms, and that sounds as if it may help, but let's all keep one thing in mind: we don't want the guys to hurt/lose their voices or get sick from doing too many performances in too few days.
Hi Everyone...
I am David Britz...SNC's manager and wanted to clarify elzregina's post. Over 650 tickets were sold via ticketmaster for the Scottish Rite (most of which were sold on the first day). The rest of the available tickets for this show were sold via PBS.
Because this tour is in support of our PBS Special...some cities sold more tickets than others via PBS and this explains why some shows sold out more quickly than others and why some shows had limited public inventory. In the case of sellouts, we tried where ever possible to move to a bigger room or add shows to meet demand. As you can see from SNC's tour schedule they are doing 37 shows in 44 days which is a feat in itself for any group...let alone a vocal group.
Our fans support and trust is of the utmost importance to us and we are doing all we can to meet demand and to make sure you can see SNC live. We appreciate all of your support.
David
PS-More shows are being added...stay tuned over the next few days
Randy and other fans,
The show at the Scottish Rite didn't "sell out" so quickly because of a rush of fans to purchase, but because there was only 80 tickets available to the general public. The rest went to PBS where one has to make a significant donation to get one of the tickets. Does anyone NOT see an issue here?
As for gaps in touring, that's certainly understandable. A friend of mine is a Video Engineer and has toured with Coldplay, Roger Waters, Jay Z and others. Back to back performances are killer to everyone, crew and performers alike.
My mom bought tickets for us to go to the New York concert. Come to find out that we have a wedding to go to that day. Tickets are useless. We're from Philly so Scottish Rite would not be that far for us. Wish we could find tickets...... When does the next tour start????? I need to see these guys live! YouTube isn't doing it for me anymore! Especially Jerome. *wink, wink*
LOL! It's not just the issue of getting tickets, though... I don't have any means to get there!
I agree with Sarah LIz. I think they should send Shaina tickets for her and a friend!
it seems wrong to think of you not being at that Anaheim show, Shaina...
It's bittersweet, I guess. I mean, I'm so excited that SNC is getting so much more recognition! Just last week, someone I've known for a few years saw my SNC tote bag and recognized the group! I've been finding previously unknown fans in people I've known for a while!
But the downside is that these tickets are selling fast -- and I don't think that I'll be able to go to the spring show! I guess that just means I'll have to catch the guys in the fall... Wherever that may be, since I'll be gone at college!
Thanks, Randy, for letting everyone know. The PBS pledge drive was a genius idea. I know about 60-70% of the Fresno show was sold by word of mouth but the rest of the seats go every time they air the show. It's now down to 12 seats before they're sold out!!!
We are overwhelmed with the response we have been getting and can't believe these shows are selling so quickly, often from the overwhelming response we've had during the PBS pledge drives in several markets. Thank you to everyone who has been rushing out to buy tickets! We are so sorry that we can't accommodate everyone this time, but we have been trying to move to larger rooms (especially for the fall shows) and add shows wherever possible. We will make every effort to make sure that everyone has a chance to see us during our fall tour if you are not able to attend a show in the spring.
Randy
cindy, I hope you are feeling better these days!
I'm excited that their shows are selling out. I understand the PBS frustration and even though I was a fan before their show on PBS, I wonder how many new fans that brought to SNC. I'm willing to bet it was quite a large number! The more fans they have the better off they will be and more likely they can make this a long lasting career move. I think that's a great thing! I want to be able to listen to their music for a long time to come :-)
I also tend to see frustration that they have gaps in their schedule rather than filling each day with a show or doing two shows in a day. The guys need a day of rest for their minds, bodies, and their voices. Not to mention their bus driver would probably like to see the sun as I'm guessing he sleeps during the day and drives all night most of the time. There are many people invoved and I know if I didn't have a day off at least once a week, I'd go stir crazy! (okay, I may be crazy already, but it would be worse LOL)
For me, I'll trade years of music that they produce to a missed concert anyday and be excited at all the positives that everyone involved with SNC are seeing in their lives. As they've stated: They never expected this to come back around and as a fan on the sidelines, it's fun for me to watch and makes me dream a little bit more :-D
