Hi everyone!!!
So I just bought tickets for myself and my 8 year old son to go see SNC at Harrah's over Labor Day weekend. We actually got front row seats, even though they are not center stage. I am so excited and he is going to be beyond excited. His absolute favorite Christmas song of all time is "The Christmas Can-Can", we even listen to it during the summer.... LOL.
Anyway, my questions are this: It says that there are no cameras/videos allowed. Is this true or will they allow you to take pictures and video during the show? Also, even though it isn't Christmas time, will they sing "The Christmas Can-Can" and "The 12 days"? And, I read somewhere that they do a meet and greet after every show... is that true? I am planning on bringing up our cds so that they can sign them.
I can't wait to tell my son as we are walking into Harrah's who we are going to see. He is going to flip! LOL
Thanks everyone, in advance!
Becca

Monica! It was Great to meet you on Saturday night...also your son is SO CUTE! Hope to see you at many more shows. HUGS
Hi Monica... it was nice to meet you! I can't wait to go to the Baltimore show... I know my son is excited too. He was telling my best friends all about it yesterday. Still on his SNC high... ;)
Hello again, this is Monica. (I'm the woman who came over to you very early in the evening when the theater was still pretty empty). I'm so glad you & Josh enjoyed the show and it was wonderful meeting both of you. I'm sure you'll enjoy their road show it is much more laid back than the AC shows.
Awesome Daisy.... oh... and I just realized who you were in regards to your videos. LOL... Love them by the way, I taped the entire concert Saturday night, but it is on a regular camcorder, have to figure out how to download it to my laptop and then break up the segments. LOL. My son was supposed to bring his digital camera so I could do short videos, but he left it in the car... :S... LOL
@Becca Yes I will be in Baltimore! :) See you there!
Here is the link for the photo of Josh w/ poster

Daisy..... sorry we didn't get to meet you either. Josh was on cloud nine! We will be at the Balitmore Concert on November 19, so let me know if you will be there and we can make sure to meet.
Josh's sign was the best!! I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you, but I was in the m&g line a couple people in front of you and I remember Ryan signing Josh's poster. Hope to meet you at the next show!
76 days? That's not TOO bad. I can probably make it that long. My car's gonna be confused when I don't drive to AC this Wednesday, though. I went to 3 shows, each 3 weeks after the other this summer. My last show was August 17, so this Wed. will be the 3-week point. All good things must come to an end though. The guys need their down time, and I need to attend my school's back-to-school night. I guess I can listen to SNC in the car on the way to & from school.
YAY!!!! Thanks Eileen.... so glad to hear that! 76 days and counting until the Baltimore concert! I can't wait!
Yes- m & g at all shows, with rare exceptions like one night last summer when they did their show at Harrah's & then zipped over to sing with Barry Manilow at Boardwalk Hall. So, I fully expect a m & g in balto.!
One more quick question! Do they do the meet and greet at all their shows? Heading to the Baltimore show in November and hoping that we will get to say hi to the guys again!
Hi everyone.... I just uploaded a bunch of pictures from last night's show. Josh's poster is proudly hung up on his wall with the ticket stubs taped to it (as soon as I get the pictures developed the group shot with him holding the signed sign will be taped to it as well. I still am on cloud 9! I know a bunch of you told me how nice the guys were, but there are no amount of words to describe just how nice they truly are!
Becca:
Good to meet you and Josh yesterday! Like Kathleen said, i'm sure he's still smiling. It a great gift to give your son (and yourself) the gift of music. It was such a fun show too. Yes, and Kudos to Mike on his graciousness with you and Josh. ALL the guys of SNC are pure class! Wear your Chasers pass with pride! Have a great rest of the weekend and a fun school year for Josh!
I hadn't been to this site andgone through everything for a few weeks and I forgot about this post until I just saw it now..Your son was a cutie with his poster and permagrin last night. Was he able to see much from behind the cardboard. Props for the shout out from the guys, I am sure Josh is still smiling. We had a great time last night...And then there was one.
Great meeting you & Josh, last night, Becca. Can't wait to see the pics!
Dave
Ok.... so the show was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G.... and now that you all know who I am.... and if I didn't meet you, my son was the one with the sign that got a shout out from the guys. We both had a great time and we can't wait to see them in concert again.
The guys were super nice and I even met the moms of two of the guys. They were extremely kind as well.
Thanks for all the help you all gave me prior to the show. It was definitely worth it! I will post pictures VERY soon. Super tired and heading off to bed.
Thanks Eileen,
I wanted to go to the show at the Verizon Center, but the tickets (for the not so great seats) were more expensive than the front row seats I got at Harrah's. Not saying that SNC isn't worth it, but it was more than this single mom could afford this year. I will start saving up and hopefully we can go to the Baltimore show next Christmas Season.
Hi, Becca,
I live in the Baltimore area, too (Bel Air), and I attended my 3rd Harrah's show of the summer last night. I drove up & back in one night for the first show and for last night. I was home from the first show by 1 a.m., even with staying for the end of the meet & greet. Last night, even with an almost 3-hour show because of the PBS taping + lots of Chasers in the m & g line, I was home by 2. There wasn't much traffic to slow me down, and some other drivers were kind enough to get stopped in the speed traps before I came zipping by- LOL!
For my second show this summer, I took my husband, parents, my 9-year-old, & my three 6-year-olds. We got two rooms at Harrah's that night, because I knew my hubby (a morning person), kids, and parents would not be able to do the round trip in one night. My kids loved the show. By the time we hit the m & g, they were pretty tired & almost too starstruck to do much other than smile at the men of SNC.
If you weren't going up for a major holiday weekend, I'd suggest that you get a hotel room. However, rooms are going to be ridiculously expensive and/or unavailable. So, the worrying mom in me will just say, please be careful on your way home. If you're a night owl like me, you'll be okay. I found that I was so pumped with excitement from the show that I didn't feel tired until I was close to the Maryland line.
I don't *think* they will be doing Christmas songs. Anything is possible, but I just don't want you or your son to get your hopes up. That said, the show is so amazing, your son will definitely have new fave songs by the end! And since you're going to one of the last shows, there may be some surprises.
Have a great time! Hopefully we will meet some day, since we are "neighbor" Chasers! I can't make it for LDW, but I never miss a Baltimore show.
I GOT MY TICKETS TODAY!!!!! I am so excited!!!! I can't wait to come to the show on 9/3! My son still doesn't know and if he gets out of his bad mood then he might actually start to enjoy listening to our new cds that I got yesterday! LOL
I ordered "Holiday Spirits", "Christmas Cheers", "With A Twist" and "Six Pack". I had thought I had lost my "Christmas Cheers" cd but low and behold right after placing my order for another copy, I found it... LOL. Typical right??? I love watching the youtube videos. I am not so worried about me knowing the songs (and singing along) it is more my son, and I can't tell him to watch the videos without a reason.... although I might try to sneak a few of them in here or there.
Which albums do you have on order? Hopefully you are getting With a Twist! You can also check out YouTube videos - they have a ton of songs and medleys that they do in their shows that aren't yet on albums.
Thanks everyone... I can't wait to meet you all, and of course the guys. You have helped me out tremendously. Now I just have to make the sign and keep it hidden from my son since this concert is a surprise for him. I am also patiently waiting on our cds to come in the mail so that we can listen to them over the next couple of weeks. That way when we go to the show, "Can-Can" isn't the only SNC song he knows. LOL.
you and your son are going to have a blast! I promise you that neither you or your son will look like an idiot if you hold up a sign (I'll be glowing in the dark, front and center) and as many people have said before me, the meet and greet will be amazing and they are always extra super sweet to kids! Can't wait to hear about how much fun you and your son had!

Hi Becca,
You will have a great time and bring LOTS of batteries and memory for your camera! YES, they allow filming and photos during their shows, because that's how they got their start! And definitely stick around for the meet & greet! It is worth every second you have to wait because they truly appreciate meeting their fans! My husband and I have been to 2 shows (6months time passed between the 2) and Jerome remembered my husband from the first show! We were fortunate to meet a few of the guys earlier in the day and bought them drinks (we were at a casino) and later that evening they thanked us again and remembered us! Have a great time! You will feel like you're meeting up with 10 of your best friends!!
I always take two cameras to the show... One for video, one for pictures. Heaven forbid that I run out of battery or memory for pictures during the meet & greet, and I definitely have to get footage of songs... so I usually have a pile of electronics in my lap. haha. :P
I was SO surprised when I went to see them last October (I think it was Oct... it was Fayetteville.) and they called me by name during the M&G line! It was only the second time I'd seen them in person too, with a year in between. They definitely pay attention to fb/twitter profile pictures! haha. :P
And they are all SO incredibly nice. I took some gifts last time and I received a hug from all of them and several thank you messages over the following days. You won't have to worry about feeling like an idiot around the guys.
Becca,
You will not be considered over the top for holding up a sign "kindly" suggesting they sing your son's favorite song. Take a look at some of the adventures that Chasers have shared on here and you will get an idea of what the guys are used to from other Chasers. They are some of the nicest gentleman you will ever meet and even though many Chasers can get a little exuberant in their love of the guys, the true Chasers from in here are never over the top, creepy, stalker types of fans. There is genuine love and affection between SNC and Chasers and even between Chasers. Many Chasers have made good friends with each other through this site and the love of SNC.The guys recognize many of their frequent flier Chasers. I don't know of any other group that has such a terrific fan base and it is all due to the type of men that are SNC, past and present. Be prepared to actually talk to the guys at the meet and greet. I was shocked when Walt actually asked me what I thought of a particular arrangement. Yes, you can take all the photos you want. Click on tour at the top of the page and Click on which concert you are going to and you can see who else signed up as going. And say hello to me. I will be ther Sat and Sun rooming with Chasers that I have met on this site but not yet in person. "This is how we do it"
I am so looking forward to the show and to meeting the guys and all of you "Chasers"!!!! See you LDW!!!
Oh... one more quick question... does anyone ever have signs at the concert?? Like I was thinking of making one for my son to hold asking about "Can-Can", but if no one else does it then I don't want to look like an idiot... ;)... or rather have my son look like an idiot... lol
Hi Becca,
When you go through the meet and greet, you'll meet ten of the nicest guys in the world! I've only been to one concert, not at Harrahs, so I'll be kind of a newbie as well. See you on LDW at AC!
Hello Becca!!
You are definitey allowed to have cameras at these shows! And as they said below the guys do a meet & greet after every show. You will be able to get pics with the guys and have some great souvenirs!
PLEASE introduce yourself to us chasers! We're a friendly group! See you soon!
