After graduating from Indiana University Dan Ponce and Michael Itkoff continued to write songs and perform together; first as members of Last Call alongside Jerome Collins, Charlie Mechling, and Steve Morgan; then as the duo Twenty Nights.
In 2003 Twenty Nights recorded a self-titled album. It's not an a cappella album, but their close harmonies and songwriting talents shine throughout. Something Chasers can appreciate.
Dan and Mike wrote all the songs and performed all the vocals. They still believe very strongly in this album, as do I, and we'd like to invite SNC fans to check it out on Amazon.com, cdbaby.com, and iTunes.com. Visit the sites and search for Twenty Nights. If you like what you hear, won't you please post a review.
We also invite you to join us at Twenty Nights Music, the Facebook home for Twenty Nights. http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/pages/Twenty-Nights-Music/1477349519...
For the music,
Lillian

I did some catching up too. I just listened to both of Dan's interviews and Part 2 of the latest eps that turns the tables on the FanChat Team. I find it easier to click on the months in Podcast Archives to access episodes. The Listen Now player won't scroll smoothly for me. I'm on a Mac. I don't know if that makes a difference.
We really enjoy talking to
We really enjoy talking to Mike, Lillian. Very down to earth and very fun to hang with.
Glad you enjoyed!
Cool! I am so far behind in
Cool! I am so far behind in listening to those, but I definitely want to hear all the interviews, especially with the former members of SNC.
Good news!
Good news!
Michael is the guest on SNC FanChat's latest interview, Episode #26. He talks about how he and Dan got together to make the Twenty Nights album, the recording process, his favorite tracks, and much more! Including the SNC "diamond" photo, his new band What the Funk, and who would be in his dream band. You can also listen to Michael's first chat on the site. Just go to the Listen Now player and select Episode #13. Enjoy!

Thanks Eileen for posting that! I'm friends with Dan but somehow missed that announcement!
Dan recently posted this on his FB page:
"This year I will launch a new talk radio show, a new indy record label and .... a new 10-man 'a cappella' group!! (I'll also try and make room for my full time TV gig) I feel so lucky to have the support to make all this possible. Details will unfold as the months go by... Much love and success to all of you for a great 2012!"
I am excited to see what he has in store for 2012, but disappointed that there was no mention of Twenty Nights!
It's the start of a new year and a new feature at Twenty Nights Music. Watch for it beginning next Monday night (U.S. Pacific Standard Time).
I love CD baby, great source for music! its where I picked up this album.
I love this CD..... I wish I could have seen these guys in concert!
Thanks for the info! Going to cdbaby.com....
I know what you mean MaryDSinTX!
I can listen to it all day and never get tired of it. I can't really explain it, but the songs sound fresh and new each time I hear them.
Beep Week is where I heard about Twenty Nights and I bought it. It is outstanding! I listen to it almost daily and never tire of it - you Chasers know what I mean, like we never tire of SNC music. There is something special about it - that same quality. Get the CD.
Eeeeee! That's exciting!
I don't have it yet, Lillian, but I understand it's on the way. :-)
The latest episode of SNC FanChat features our own Michael Itkoff!!! It is a wonderful interview with a few surprises along the way! Have a listen and share your thoughts here at in the Twenty Nights Music Discussion forum. And please remember to thank the fabulous team at SNC FanChat.

I was so excited to hear you had won the drawing, S!
I hope you've had a chance to listen to it. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it.
Can't wait to hear it, Lillian! :-)
Twenty Nights Music congratulates everyone at BEEP Week for doing an awesome job!
Thank you and the fans for including Dan and Michael and Twenty Nights Music in your celebration of Straight No Chaser's bodacious baritones!
That's great, KristinC! Happy listening.
Ah, the "hook". And it's a good one, too!
Got my notification that my CD is on the way. Can't wait to hear it!!
If I Could See Tomorrow...Listen to the hook taken from the SNC theme song in the background. ;)
That's a nice collection you've got going, KristinC.
And thank you for supporting Twenty Nights!
I'm slowly working on ordering the guys' music of CDBaby.com (have Another Round, Thank You, Mike L.'s and one of Ryan's so far). But now that I see that Twenty Nights also does "The Time Has Come" I'm purchasing it. Immediately.
Hello, music lovers!
We are so excited about BEEP Week and to have our very own Dan Ponce, and Michael Itkofff among the honorees!
Come join in the festivities. Head on over to the BEEP Week forum here, "Like" the BEEP Week page on Facebook, and follow updates on Twitter.
Let's show some love and make it a most memorable week for our beloved baritones!
I love that word, baritones.
YES...YES....YES... Thanks Shaina. Just snatched the last one in stock from Amazon.com. Just can't wait for my "fix" to come in the mail. LOL
Thanks, Shaina. This gave me the SNC fix i was looking for lol.
Oooo I somehow missed this thread yesterday. I don't have any of the "old" SNC music. Yay! Thanks!
I like every song on the album. If I had to pick faves, I would say "She's Everything", "I Will Follow You", and "Beginning". Really, the first 5 songs are ones I hit the "repeat" button on often.
Ooh, thanks for the heads-up, Shaina!
The Time Has Come is one of those songs you can hear over and over and never get tired of it.
Oooh, glad I stumbled on this! I wouldn't have seen it had I not looked at the current site activity thing and clicked the link to this page. Amazing!
