Exactly two years ago tonight I was recovering for the Black Friday craziness and channel surfing. On the local PBS station I found this “a cappella” group. They caught my eye causing no more channel surfing, because they were performing music, yet had no instruments (duh, a cappella) and they were a good looking bunch of guys!! I even wrote the name of the group down so I could look them up on the Internet later in the weekend.
The following morning that is exactly what I did. After a look of their 12 Days of Christmas video, a look on their website, www.SNCMusic.com and countless views of the Stand By Me video on the website, I was hooked and in love with this awesome group, Straight No Chaser!! A few more days later I “signed up” on the website (a 1st for me since I was so technically challenged) and notice the fan count was at 4,998 (today the counter says 18,068). For many hours and days after that I read the profiles of the guys, the discussions from other “Chasers” and educated myself on everything SNC. On December 8, 2009 I purchased my first tickets to my first show on May 10, 2010.
From there on I have been from coast to coast (AC to LA), from one border to crossing another (home town of El Paso, Texas to Canada) and met amazing people in between that I can call “friends” . . . .Chaser Friends!!! The guys themselves are amazing, awesome, talented and still as good looking as ever!! There are many milestones over these past two years, to many to list here, and both SNC and I have had our own fair share. I am honored to have been able to walk through these years with the music of Straight No Chaser!!!

Rosa - Happy Anniversary!
Exactly 3 years ago, Thanksgiving Day (2008), I first heard this silly version of the 12 Days of Christmas on the radio while en-route to my In-laws for dinner. The sad thing was, that after the song finished, they never told who just performed it. It wasn't until later that day, when I returned home, that I was able to search (at least an hour of searching) to find out who these artist were.
Like you, I hooked up with this web site, was able to get to know not only the guys, but some pretty cool people, such as you, Rosa - which by the way....just love seeing you every time we're at the same venue!!!
Unfortunately for me, though, it wasn't until 10 months later (Sept 2009) when I was able to see them the first time in the Cleveland area. It was at that Meet & Greet that I was able to finally shake hands and chat for a few moments; and found that their integrity and respect towards their fans deserved absolutely the same in return.
I say this all of the time. I really enjoy going to the guys shows and kick'n back to some pretty cool music......However, meeting up with other Chasers is just as cool!
I say this quite abit, when talking/chatting/typing to a new SNC fan: "enjoy the ride"....but Gayle below, said it right with the "GET READY...'CAUSE HERE WE COME".
Can't wait to see whats to come in the next 3 years!!

@BooBoo - What a beautiful, and heartwarming discussion post! It really is a wonderful feeling to witness, (and be an ever so small part of ) the growth of this wonderful and wonderfully talented group of men! To be included, and able to share in their milestones is just exciting! I'm looking forward to the many more to come over the next two years!! Can you imagine?!!!
I hope the world is listening when they sing: "GET READY...'CAUSE HERE WE COME"!!! They truly are on their way!
