So far I'd say Worlds Apart takes my breath away even more than all the others do. Of course, I only discovered SNC three weeks ago.
My friend turned me onto a download site...BearShare.com. There I found what I now think are the best, well besides all the other best ones. I found their FABULOUS rendention of "America the Beautiful". Also the great "Time of the Season", and "Til There Was You". I don't think there is possibly ANY bad SNC songs.
I also agree with everyone about Mike. He has a "one of a kind" voice AND performs with such enthusiasm and joy!!
I second Bridge Over Troubled Water. I was listening to it on my way in to work this morning (converted the YouTube video into an mp3) and had big goose bumps the whole way. Almost brought me to tears. I know there are many reasons why we love these guys, but it all boils down to raw talent. I can't wait to see what the future holds for them. ? ? ?
That's a hard question for me also. Some of my favorites are New York New York, Africa (with Mike doing the solo), Fix You (with Mike and Jerome doing the solos), Without Your Love (amazing vocals) , Christmas Can Can (I laugh everytime I see it). And I will probably be sending another list as soon as I smack my head for forgetting them.
I'd say its a toss up between Bridge Over Troubled Water and Like a Prayer and Up on the Roof.
I posted on another blog here---my favorite of all SNC's songs would be "Like A Prayer"! Harmonies are amazing and Mike does a great job with the solo! One song I could listen to all day, every day!
It's way too hard to pick one. But Hark the Heralds/Angels Heard on High from Hershey on YouTube might be it. Man is that a work of perfection.

LOL Mike is about the best looking/sounding alien I've ever heard of! I hope the Earth gets invaded by a whole bunch of those kind of aliens! He is one amazing performer, that's for sure!

@Amanda - I have to agree! Living here in NM we've seen lots of *aliens*, but none compare to Mike! ;)

I live 45 minutes away from Roswell, NM. I've gotten pretty good at spotting aliens! ;) Though, none of them looked anywhere near as good as Mike!

@Alice - Mike is an alien or a robot. I'm leaning more towards alien. He's not human.
I love all the SNC songs but for the last couple of days I've been having "Up on the Roof" stuck in m head 24/7. Mike's voice is just so smooth and dreamy in that song =)

Christmas songs - Last Christmas!
GRINCH. How could I forget Grinch?? Possibly because I have *not* been listening to Christmas songs? But if we are going to talk about Christmas songs then I am going to get really confuddled, because Can Can rules! Also, Indiana Christmas is amazing. Yeah. Don't ask me to choose one song. It's impossible.
@EricaH, I'm right with you on Tainted Love. I never cared much for the Soft Cell version, but it's one of my fave SNC songs to crank on iTunes. And I was in Best Buy the other day when "Miss You" by the Rolling Stones came on the store radio. All I could think was "SNC does it so much better!" :)
I'm loving "Fix You." It's haunting and beautiful. Of course, I haven't come across an SNC song that I don't like. They've even converted me on a few songs. I HATE the original version of "Tainted Love", but I LOVE the SNC version.

@KristinC, yeah that song is a keeper...all time favorite. Maybe i love it so much because it would be SO EASY to mess it up, ya know? Or to do it half way....but man, when they hit it...wowza...
