A while back I asked my twitter followers to tweet me a link to their favorite concert clip of Straight No Chaser. I have been collecting these tweets to re-tweet later, and I thought I might make it more fun by having a contest!
So here's how it will work. If you haven't already done so, tweet me a link to your favorite fan video of SNC in concert. Please only submit one video link. If you sent me more then one video clip already, don't worry. I will just pick one from the links that you sent. Everyday I will tweet one video and hashtag it with #SNCfanvideo. Votes for the video can be cast by "favoriting" the tweet containing the video clip. At the end of the week, the video that has the most number of "favorites" will win and the person who submitted it will get a fabulous SNC sticker from Wicked Vinyl Graphics!
Please tweet me [@dottkov], the link of your favorite fan video, and get set to vote for your favorite next week! Just search #SNCfanvideo when you log on to twitter to find the daily video quickly, and "favorite" the one you think should win! You may vote for more than one video, including your own.
Contest will run Sunday, January 22nd through Saturday, January 28th, 2012.

Having a hard time picking one!
So I have learned the hard way yet again. Don't watch SNC youtube videos at night unless you are "able" to stay up late. More than 4 hours past ones bedtime. "Oh I will just watch a few" ......NOT that never happens!

There are a few drawbacks to running a contest like this on FB, only because it would then limit the entries to only the chasers who are my friends on facebook. At least this way, people who don't even follow me on twitter can participate in the fun. I could hold another contest and post it here - but I would need to come up with something (everyone does trivia - I was going for something different). Maybe a funny photo contest would be fun?

Julie...I kind of see your point. I am *hoping* that people would not just watch the videos at the beginning of the week, but come back & watch them all, even if they missed a day? Searching the hashtag should bring them all up neatly in a row, so they will be easy to find, even if you miss them all week! I suppose that some chasers will favorite all seven videos. :) Let's just see how it goes, since I have never tried this before. I have plenty of stickers, so I hope people will just have fun with it!
What about non-Tweeters?
Question in the 3rd row! The video posted on Monday has the potential to get more votes than the video posted on Thursday or Friday, unless you are counting "favorites" for each in a 24 hour period. No?
