This is what I posted to the blog 3 days ago, as I had not seen this thread at the time.

Our local PBS station bought out much of the venue for the April 6th concert in Boulder prior to the show going on sale. That's why there were extremely few tickets available when they went on sale to the public at noon today - I bet that happened with other cities as well.

I think it's fabulous the PBS is supporting SNC, and hope they air some concerts. Sadly, this meant by the time I got home from the Met show this afternoon I was not feeling the love. I'm now trying to figure out if there's a way to access any of the tickets the PBS station bought.

In this case it was the venues fault but luckily they made things right!

To piggyback off of what Penny and Lauren said, it's not SNC's fault and/or the venue's fault for the ticket fiasco. Unfortunately, with fame also comes those who are looking to make money off of artist's success as well (i.e. scalpers, etc.) Every venue is going to be different, but try calling the venue and asking if they have tickets in preferred seating areas. That's what a friend of mine did and she ended up with fourth row seats that I couldn't even find through Ticketmaster's website. DON'T GIVE UP! These guys are worth it.

This sounds like a horrible nightmare... I'm so sorry, everyone, for all that seems to be happening. I haven't ordered my tickets for the concert yet, but this is enough to get me EXTREMELY worried...

OM GOSH! Did you see some of the prices of these tickets on Ebay? That is horrible! Some of these tickets were on $19-$35 tickets and these ticket brokers are selling them for hundreds of dollars. I was looking at the Bloomingdale venue and for two $19 tickets, a ticket broker is asking $400! There's two for Mobile going for $700! Isn't there something someone can do about this???

And, fett, it's not their fault they are given a bad link. More than likely it was exceptionally busy and noone could get through. These guys and their crew really are great people. Many of these venues have premium season ticket holders who are given the chance to buy pre-sales. It happens all the time. They are the people who keep the venue going. Without them, it wouldn't be in business. At 10 a.m., I wasn't able to find tickets within the first 30 rows at the venue I wanted to attend.

For the 4/17 NJ (Phila area) venue and by a few accounts, Ticketmaster got 50 tickets to "sell" for the Philly market. In other news, a set of 4 tickets in Virginia is listed for $1K+ on eb*y.

Fett, please realize it's not the guys fault and it's not the theater's fault. Most likely, it's the ticket broker's fault-Ticketmaster if that's who they are using. Not to mention scalpers. Your problem happens with every artist at every venue.

Crystal, you aren't the only one. It's not the guys fault they are so successful. Plus since 2 of the guys are from Chicago, they are going to have lots of family and friends who want to go to that show. I'm glad for their sake that they sold out but in some ways, am seriously P.O.'d beyond belief. I'm just glad this website isn't a official fanclub website that charges, because then I'd be even more PO'd. I mean, it was supposed to be a Christmas gift to me. I'm not getting a Christmas gift because of it.

PBS probably gave away more tickets to each concert than they should have.

Sorry to say, but I think this spring tour is making a lot of us fans very unhappy about ticket situations. Another point in case: Chicago. Why even put it on the website here when all the tickets were sold out before they even went on sale? Seriously disappointed!
