Fan Photo Op - Hershey

I have an idea, let's see how it flies!  Someone suggested a few weeks ago on here that the fans start meeting each other at the shows.  Would it be possible to coordinate group Fan Photos at the venues?  Since we're all getting to know each other better, I think it would be great showing of our support as a collective group of Chasers at each event!  Then, we could post the photos here!  Maybe the WebCrew could even give us our own Link!

I'm not exactly sure how this would work getting it coordinated, but it would seem the rules could/should be the same for each venue?  Maybe 1/2 hour before showtime, everyone meet, say, at the door to the auditorium or some pre-agreed place (and maybe bring a family member or friend to take your personal photo so some poor usher doesn't have to take 12 pictures on 10 different cameras!).  I trust there will be some good ideas from everyone here.  I'd be interested in what everyone thinks!

    I was thinking today, maybe someone at each event should have a little sign that says "I'm with the Band" so we all know who to look for... LOL

    Okay, here goes!

    I'm going to the show this Thursday, May 20th, at the Crest Theatre in Sacramento. I'll be out in front of the theatre 30 minutes before the show.

    Anyone want to get together for dinner before the show? Anyone have a suggestion for where to go for dinner?

    Good ideas, Kim. And, we want everyone in the picture, so you're not off the hook! LOL I do like the idea of a group shot somewhere around the marquee. I'm all for getting to events early (unless the person I am travelling with has issues). Now, how do we gather everyone at the same location, and how early should we be at an event? I am guessing about 30 mins. before show time? This way, we have our own little meet and greet, and we actually get the photo/s taken.

    If anyone has any other ideas, please post them here! If someone is willing to try this at an upcoming show, let us know how it goes and give us some feedback! Someone will have to post the show you are attending and hope other members respond so you know who to expect to show up!

    As one who won't take pictures (kinda makes my opinion moot lol) and arrives early for pretty much everything, I would suggest before because you might have less people in the way when you are trying to get a group shot. At intermission, everyone is out in the hallways & lobby, so you might have to MOVE people to get a clear shot. And, if you are trying to meet somewhere like by the stage, it might be hard to get through the people to get there, line up, and back plus taking care of buying the CD.

    Another thought: if there's a marquee, what about a group shot under the marquee or even by the front doors of the venue if there isn't a marquee. It would give each group their own unique "background".

    First thought is that intermission would be a good idea for the reasons you said. But man,,,,,intermissions can be really crazy with the bathroom breaks and souvenirs alone.

    Thanks, Dave! And, yes, Christine's discussion is what I had in mind.

    Would it make more sense to meet right at the start of intermission? That way, everyone will be there, no one has to worry about being late/not getting in on the fun, and if we're quick about it, we can get it done and people can get on with their evening (bathroom break, souvenir purchases, etc.).

    Julie - I really like your idea! Definitely worth pursuing and I'm sure that if enough fans got together at different venues to do what you're suggesting, I think the webcrew would surely make some space just for that.

    Between here and Christine's discussion "SNC Community Members - Let's Connect", I don't think it would be too hard to coordinate.
