Happy Mother's Day

(20100508T092533Z )

From one SNC mom,

I Just wanted to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms on this site.  Like many of you, I go on this site to see what the guys are up to.  It is very refreshing to read the comments and know that our kids have been adopted by so many.  So, on behalf of this SNC mom, and I’m sure all the others would  concur with me and say, Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  This year has been amazing not because our kids have experienced fame, but because of the love the fans have shown them.  I have taken a  deep breath, laughed as well as cried while reading some of the posts.  I know that many of you say how great these guys are, but it is the fans that have been unbelievably amazing.  I worried about my baby going on the road and possibly changing but I am very happy to say that I no longer worry because there are so many amazing people out there looking out for him and the entire group.  If he does change, I know it will be for the better because of the fans (groupies/chasers/adoptive moms).  Thank you for putting one SNC mom at ease and making my mother’s day a true blessing.  With love and gratitude, Seggie’s mom

Again, thank you for the kindness and love you continue to show. May your dreams be realized and your days continue to be blessed. Kathy, I think you will enjoy the show on Friday since it is much different than the fall show. Dave, we will have to get you some cookies, you don't make mistakes often and I would say this is a first so you are forgiven. Eastetesncfan, Seggie was five when he did his first solo and the Choir director told me that he plans on seeing him on Stage in NY one day so your son will make you proud as I believe he already has. Julie, I'm sorry about your mom because I know that this has to be the hardest day of the year for you. Her memories will keep her alive in your heart so when you think of her smile because that is what she would want you to do. Kathleen, I love the card you mentioned and it reminds me of a card Seggie made for me when he was 13, paper and all. I still have it up in my office at work and to date; I still smile when I read it. I believe it has a star on the corner (I will check when I get back to work) which will remind me of your son's card. Lauren, you are right about being appreciated but believe me there are many others who appreciate and don't get anything in return. You guys are selling yourself short, you are great. Cindy, Critters require much more care than kids so I can say you qualify. As far as the guys go, believe me when I say, they love all of their surrogate moms. Klancy96, love those adjectives and the stained glass gifts were absolutely beautiful. I think that your gift will be hard to top. I remember your first post and am so happy to see how much fun you've had in the past six months. Shaina, S and Dave, the only thing I can say to the three of you is THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING THAT YOU HAVE DONE. Terry, Thank you for adopting our kids, as they say, "It takes a village to raise a child." I guess it takes a country to raise 10.

What a beautiful note to read on this lovely Mother's Day morn. Thank you, "Seggie's Mom" for sharing your wonderful son with us and thanks to all the other SNC moms too. I really can't express how much joy they've brought to me. Even though they are young enough to be my sons, I really just think of them as friends. I can't wait to see them the next two Fridays!!!!!

    Happy Mother's Day to all!

Seggie's Mom and all the other SNC moms. Simply put....you did a great job! The pride you must feel for your boys is certainly a testament to the upbringing that you played such a vital role in. I hope that someday my own son (4 years old) will make me just as proud. I am sure he will, but just to be on the safe side, I am taking him to a SNC concert 11/28 so that he can see these outstanding men in person. From this fan, and many others "Thank You" and "Happy Mother's Day!" You have given a great gift to this world and we appreciate your sharing it with the rest of us!

    Hi Seggie's Mom!

What a beautiful note! I am sure you are very proud of your son, and you have every reason to be. Seggie, along with his other nine mates, are all gentlemen! What a pleasure it is to follow the group on this website as well as be able to attend a show to witness their talent in person. It's wonderful to see this nice, clean-cut group of young men do so well. It is obvious they were "brought up right," and we fans thank you and the other families for that! Having lost my own mother four years ago, I certainly miss the relationship I had with her. The "Best Friend" video was such a terrific idea and lovely tribute to all the SNC moms! I'm not sure if I'm a groupie, a chaser, a stalker, or just in need of psychiatric care (LOL), but I am definitely hooked on this group! I'm looking forward to seeing where this journey takes them and wish them nothing but the best!

To you, Mrs. Isho, and all the other SNC Moms.... Happy Mother's Day!

The only way I could be any prouder of those 10 young men would be if I were one of their real mothers instead of one of the thousands of "surrogates." In many ways they remind me of my own son who has grown into a wonderful young man. My favorite mother's day card from him came a few years ago and was very simple. On the front cover was a small boy with his arm and hand stretching up toward a star and on the inside it said "Thanks to you, mom, I always knew I could reach them" All of the SNC mom's have certainly been that kind of mom too. We have been blessed with wonderful children and there is not much more in life that is more important or heartwarming than that. Happy Mother's Day to all the SNC Moms and the "Chaser" Moms!!!!

Happy Mother's Day Seggie's mom and to all of the SNC members moms and all of the other mom's on here!! Thank you Seggie's mom for encouraging him to go after his dreams and pursue this career. The band wouldn't be having the success they are if they weren't as wonderful, polite, charming and talented as they are. The fact that they appreciate us as much as they do makes us want to give back to them that much more.

    ::Waving:: hi Seggie's mom!
Happy mothers day to you and all the SNC moms. I can't claim to be a mother unless having a family of critters counts lol. The note you wrote was very lovely. Ive heard say many times you get what you give. These young men give respect and care to us "chasers" and they had to get it from somewhere and i don't think I would far off the mark in saying it's their mothers and fathers raising them who have instilled in them the values and morals that allow them to be who they are now.

It's nice to know some of your worries are eased as they travel. I know they are many peoples prayers. ::Chuckling:: I'm sititng here wondering how they really feel about having so many surrogate moms.

These young men have been gifted with vocal talents and persoanlities; but I think the biggest gift they have are the supportive mothers, fathers, wives and families who have been so important in letting this amazing path unfold for them.

God bless and keep you in His grace.
    Cindy

What a wonderful note, thank you for taking a moment and sharing your thoughts with us.

From my perspective, I believe the fans are so willing to support these 10 young men not only because they possess amazing talent that they share with us on the stage but because of who they are.

After watching the connection they share with the fans online, I had an opportunity to meet them twice recently. It was refreshing to realize that the stories were true. They are grounded, humble, gracious, friendly, and I could go on with a list of adjectives! I left my first concert in York, PA speechless due to a combination of the fantastic music and the few moments I had to meet each one of them. Memories that I will cherish.

It's a testament to their mothers, fathers, siblings, families, wives, and friends who helped shape them into the men they are today. It's easy to support Straight No Chaser as an incredible group of musicians but it's an added bonus to see what quality individuals they are as well.

Happy Mothers Day to you and to all of the other SNC Moms!

Hi Mrs. Isho! This is such a sweet note. All of the SNC guys are just so talented and kind; it just feels so natural to support them in any way possible!

Thank you for sharing your son (and his amazing talents) with all of us! I'm probably young enough to be a younger sister to Seggie, so I can't say that I'd be able to keep him in check. I'll leave that to the others. ^___^

Happy Mother's Day to you and all the other SNC moms! :)

Hi, Seggie's mom! What a sweet note. Thanks for the large part you played in making your son the man that he is. We'll do our best to take care of all of them/keep them in line. ;-)

Happy Mother's Day to you and all the other SNC moms. Have you formed your own support group for "Moms of SNC Sons on the Road?" :-)

Seggie's Mom: Your beautiful message brought tears to my eyes. I think those of us on the blog owe a hugh debt to the parents of the incredible men of SNC. As parents, it is obviously the men of SNC have been raised by some very loving, caring and encouraging parents. You have every right to be proud of them and enjoy the "fame" they are achieving. Just being able to listen to their music has helped a lot of "blogger Moms" through some difficult times--I can speak from experience. Just listening to SNC brings a smile to your face and your pain of the day is eased. Thank you for your kind words and a very HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOU AND THE REST OF THE SNC "REAL" MOMS!

That's so nice of you to say. While I am not a Mom I am old enough to be any one of their Moms and when I check up on the site I feel like I am checking up on "my 10 sons"! I'm sure their are many others out there that feel the same way. They all seem like fine young men and all thier Moms should be very proud of them. Thank you for sharing them with us! Happy Mother's Day
