I discovered SNC a couple of weeks ago when "Skate for the Heart" aired. I've always been a huge figure skating fan so I try and watch any skating shows that airs. The shows that include live performances are some of my favorites. And when SFTH aired and SNC performed, I was like "WOW! They're amazing!". I became a huge fan instantly. I missed out on their multi-city tour in 2010 but hoping one day they'll have another tour or appearances near me that I can attend =)

My best friend and I are music majors in Grad. School and always looking for new music to share with each other....except this time, it was only new for me!! She had been a fan for a while, and didn't know that I hadn't heard of SNC. In late October 2010, I got a message from her with the title "Doesn't SNC Make You Happy?" with a link to a YouTube video. I wasn't really paying attention (it was late) to the link, so I sent back the only thing I think of which was, "I don't know, should it?" to which the response from her was: "You haven't heard of them, have you? Watch the video now, and if you aren't at least smiling afterwards, search more videos and google them, and in less than 5 minutes, you will be or there's something wrong with you!!" With a message like that, how could you not at least check it out??!! So I clicked on the link, and it was a YouTube of SNC singing "Fix You" by Coldplay and with that (for lack of a better term) I was hooked!! I'm not usually one to stay a fan of one type of music for very long, when there's so many different genres to explore, but SNC is proving to be in a group all it's own, in a good way and I can't wait for my first SNC concert!! :)

I've heard 12 Days of Christmas on the radio for a couple years now and I always loved it. This year, I had the sense to look up who sang it :)

When this question was first asked, back in Oct. 2009, I hadn't heard of SNC. I happened upon their NY concert on my local PBS channel in Dec. 2009, and as they say, the rest is history. I never considered myself a "groupie" in my younger days, but I'm proud to tell all my friends that I finally found a group that I am happy to follow.

I first heard The Christmas Can-Can on one of the XM radio holiday stations in late 2009. It was so brilliant I had to leave the car running in the driveway until the song was over. I bought Christmas Cheers soon after that. Then I saw them live two months ago and lost my mind. Anybody seen it lately?

Rich, it is amazing that you sleep after watching the video's. I have found they keep me up nights just singing the songs over and over in my head. I can't wait until you actually see SNC live. It will be the best experience you will never forget. Welcome.

My best friend from high school and I had spent the better part of two years of our college lives following an accappella group (Four Guys Standing Around Singing) around Chicago. He knew how captured I was with accappella music. A little more than a year ago he sent me an e-mail with a YouTube link saying "these guys do the best rendition of '12 Days of Christmas' I've ever heard". From that point on it was over for me. Since then I've watched the PBS special dozens of times and have watched the videos on this site and YouTube hundreds of times. It's not a complete day until I've watched an hour or two of videos to send me off to sleep.

About the middle of Oct (2010), the HR dept @ my day job sent an email about upcoming concerts in the area, and on the list was SNC on my birthday weekend. Without hearing anything, I was already interested because I LOVE the harmonies of an a cappella performance. So I bought tickets and invited friends for a ladies' evening. I found the website before the show (Raleigh 18th pm) so I thought I had a clue, but I was still blown away. I came home and DLd the CDs. AC is (sort of) driving distance, so I'm hoping to meet folks next summer & see SNC again. Funniest thing is that I'm Yours showed up on my Pandora channel about a week before the concernt.

It was about a week ago... I haven't listened to '12 days of Christmas' for so long and didn't remember exactly what was happening on each day. So I decided to give myself a little of Christmas atmosphere and googled it. The first video was the Straight No Chaser one. The more I listened the more 'they're genious!' I was ;) That's such a pity there are no SNC CDs here, in Poland!

On PBS! We happened to record it and now watch it quite often and definitely several times over the holiday season each year. Great show and I hope to see you guys live one day.

It was 2008 I believe and I was shopping at Target the day after Christmas. I was searching for great deals and came across the Christmas CDs. I picked one up and it had all these guys on it and it said a cappella. I was like oooooh. So I brought it home put it in, and loved it for that moment. We went to u-tube and couldn't stop watching them. My whole family loved them from that moment also. They have changed my life.

I was listening to the radio on my way to work, and they were doing a thing called "the present patrol", where listeners will call in to help people find special Christmas presents that they cannot find, or don't know where to look. One listener called in and said that she needed to find a gift for someone, a cd set from a group call "Straight No Chaser". The DJ looked you up on Google, and played one of your songs...I was so struck by the amazing melody, that I pulled your site up just as soon as I got to my office. Now, all I can think about is when you'll be singing in Omaha, NE again, so I can take everyone I know!!! I'm not sure if it's the site, or my computer, but I can't see any tour dates under the "Tour" tab...Ugh!
