Thanks SNC

Just a note to say thanks and may 2010 bring you even more success in whatever you dream.

I don't know if this will be seen, but I wanted to say that my 'thanks' is many-fold.  I've been a fan since the YouTube video went viral.  I'm the same age as many of you, and it's been fun to watch how something done 10 years ago came back around and truly changed your lives.  It gives us all room to dream :-)

Second, I've been going through a treatment this December with over 20 trips to and from the hospital clinic 40 miles from home.  It's been a trying time and one that could easily lead to a funk.  I won't say that I haven't slipped into that mode occassionally, but I will say that your music has certainly helped keep my 'spirits' up and 'cheer' going.

With so much time in the car and waiting rooms, I listened to your music so often that I could probably write score by heart if you needed hand written copies LOL.  I'll also proudly say that I got the entire staff at the clinic to fall in love with SNC!  Your music became a staple in their waiting room for others to enjoy as well.

Finally, the fact that SNC has created a place for fans to talk and to share pictures, video, artwork, etc is wonderful.  So many artists lose touch with the fans and you guys have been great at not only fostering it but encouraging it.  Your glimpses into your lives through blogs and twitter, videos, chats, even comments on sncmusic.com and everything else you have done goes above and beyond.  This fan appreciates that.

Hard to admit but I've never been to a concert.  That will be changing when you find your way east to PA in April.

So, thank you for sharing your talents, as well as your stories, and for giving me some laughter and smiles during this trying holiday season.  Happy New Year!

Best Wishes.

Hahaha!! Now THAT would be funny!!! Wonder if they can sing AND compete in curling??? ... isn't that teams of 4 + 1 alternate.... hmmm, the math works!

I think you are onto something with that curling suggestion... little bit of tweaking, and we could market to their agent! Too funny!!

ya,,,,only wish it was *my* idea :o)

now here's a thought.....maybe after the skating.....someone could put on a Curling match with the tunes of SNC?!?!?!?!?!? The ice is already there.....it could happen - right?

Soooooooooooooooo - if the guys ever do a concert to a Curling meet - IT WAS MY IDEA!!!

    LMAO

Hey Dave: Think we can get a petition going to get SNC to do the Can Can at the Ice Skating show? LOL Maybe even convince Mike to don a pair of skates so he can meander on the ice during the performance?? haha!

Ya know, it's quite fishy that you brought all this ice skating stuff up just days before the big announcement... hmm, inside scoop, I ponder! Just kidding. Just laughing at the timing of it all! :)

Glad to hear that! Sorry about the pain, but I'm keeping you in my prayers and hoping you'll continue to get better!
Definitely had a laugh with the Mike comment; I didn't really notice it THAT much until Jelly pointed it out to me... :D

I'm so glad that I gave a few laughs with the Mike in the background comment! To those who understood my comment and those who had to check it out!! :-) (And, yet again shared that I tend to notice the little things and I stop paying attention to really what's going on, probably more than I should! LOL :o) )

S, thanks for asking. I'm doing well. Having a bad day today with lots of pain, but it's my first time traveling since this all started, so I'm sure that's a major part of it. Hoping tomorrow will be better, but I take heart in the fact that I'm so much better than just a few months ago. - That's a big picture that I do try to focus on! Thx :)

Klancy, I laughed out loud when I read the thing about Mike dancing in the background. Funny! I love that part of the video.

I have been hearing the Can can song more in other places but couldn't tell you where.

*cackle* I'm not crazy, S... but I do listen to a lot of classical and it seems to be getting played a lot more on my local classical station... maybe I'm just noticing it more...

I'll have to check for that another time. Pretty funny that they used that, but Sarah Liz, how often do you hear the Can-Can otherwise? :-\ Do other people hear it, too, or just you?

Hey, klancy - how are you?

by the way, K, I've never noticed Mike doing is own thing in the background before... (I'll admit, my attention has always been elsewhere). Just watched it again with the sole purpose of watching Mike and I was busting up!!

I find that happening when I hear the Can-Can anywhere, Dave... I wish the world would get the memo about how things are supposed to go!

No, Mike wasn't dancing around in the background. Probably the most disappointing part was that the French skaters didn't go into the "Dreidel Song" as my brain thought they should have.
