The Little SNC fans

I am curious on what other little SNC fans are like.  'Cause I am thinking I am raising 3 little fanatics!!!  My sons (ages 8, 6 and 4) know all the words and frequently ask – Mom, put your favorite group on!  They also start singing the songs no matter where they are or what they are doing.  While playing trains with my youngest, William, I get "Merrima was a bull frog singing Joy to the World" out of no where…ok, maybe he doesn’t know all the words, but he is only 4!  LOL  Or when he comes to me whining that he is getting teased by Jonathan (son #2).   My oldest, Stephen, almost naturally starts singing Tainted Love…’can’t stand the way you tease me’. The others stop fighting and join in....we all laugh. 

My husband and I were very fortunate to see your Harrah's show on Aug 5th.  (Wonderful, amazing, fantastic show!!!)  It was the first time in 10 years we were able to get out for a weekend ALONE!  But the boys where on our mind and like many sucker parents out there, we brought them home 3 Hermit Crabs.

My boys named them Michael, Dan and Charlie. 

  Sorry, no plans on getting 7 more.

Love you guys, keep up the great work and good luck with the fall tour!  Back to school shopping and reading tutors snuck into my SNC piggy bank but still hope we can make the Oct 9th show!!!  The boys would die if we were able to surprise them with tickets!

    I'm bringing the SNC love to my students (present and past)!!! :) I have students checking them out online and rockin' out to them in the classroom! So fun!

    Raising 2 more little fans here in Michigan!! Eric (7) and Jake (4) fight over who's singing the words and who's "singing the ahhhs"....they love watching the PBS special on our DVR! Jake tells me how "silly" Jerome is--he calls him the brown guy (no offense, Jerome, he's only 4!). Almost daily, I'll hear them playing and out of nowhere one of them starts singing "Straight No Chaser", then they come running, asking for me to put them on tv. In the car, they fight over who gets to pick which song we listen to first! If I didn't know better, I'd think they are just as infatuated as I am! I'm hoping SNC schedules another show somewhere in the Detroit area (come on, Seggie, you know you want to come home for a visit!) so they can go too.....we have tickets for Windsor in December, but it's at a casino and no one under 19 is allowed (they were heartbroken!).
    This past Mother's Day, my mom and I were "serenaded" with my sons' version of "Wonderwall"...a little off key, but I swear, they could join the group tomorrow if they were old enough! Now, if only they made the "I'm a Chaser" shirts in smaller sizes!
    I hope the guys realize how tough it is to please the younger crowd....SNC is something special!

    How sweet! Love the little one's version of Joy to the World. My children love SNC too and will not accept anything else in the cd player, inside or in the car. Probably because I'm addicted and I don't want to listen to anything else either. Anyway, we have a household filled with chasers! Nothing wrong with that....

    My 4 year old is a huge fan, too! She's constantly asking for them and dancing her way through the songs...we're taking her to the October concert we're attending (one of the two) and I can't wait to see her reaction when she sees them live! I'm going to be holding her off the stage, I think. LOL

    I think that you NEED more hermit crabs... You don't want to other guys to be jealous do you? :) That is too cute! My kids are older (10 and 13) and like SNC. We just took our daughter (13) to her first SNC concert in June, and she's going again with us in November.

    Oh, Stacy, this is priceless!!! LOVE the hermit crab names!!! That is too funny. I don't have kids (I have cats) but I can't see that you could bring them up on anything better than SNC in today's society, given the choices. Just to clarify, was that "sorry, no plans on getting 7 more." Would that be hermit crabs, or boys? LOL? Sounds like you're doing a great job! Keep up the good work.
