Shania: Why would someone like you want to be "much more..Normal." You wouldn't be the amazing person you are if that was just "normal" as I see you wise beyond your years. Doing all the things you do here on the blog is amazing enough, but you are still in school with all the pressures that come with being a Senior, graduating, planning your future, etc. I find your enthuiasm contagious and the fact you are willing to put up with a bunch of Chasers a lot older then you, yet fit right in because we all have something in common in our joy and hopes for SNC guys! They are not normal or they would be out working 9 to 5 jobs instead of using their creativity and their God given gifts to amaze people of all ages. Please, don't ever just strive to be normal--be the Shaina that amazes all of us here on the blog!

Who needs 'normal'? This is a whole lot more fun! ;^)

Nicely done, I really enjoyed listening! I also liked the reassures about Post Straight No Chaser Partum after a live show. I think that described my symptoms perfectly!

Shaina - My friends refer to me as a stalker, too. I like to think of it as a term of endearment! I was just "sharing the love" today with a co-worker on our IM system. First, she asked if the police are aware of who I am (I told her, yes, I've had my photos taken ~ with the guys, of course.), then, she called me the "S" word - so I had to tell her we prefer "Chaser," and when I told her I would be in Atlantic City in August, she said she couldn't wait till our next department meeting when they are making announcements! "We'll be covering the budget, and delivery performance. Today is Joe Smith's birthday. And, Julie is in jail." LOL It's all good!

And Dave - when is that date again when we are to fill Ellen's Inbox with our SNC requests? I need to jot that down somewhere. Thanks!

"Beep" is something the guys used in college, I believe. It's my understanding that it's a way of boasting or "honking your own horn" ie: Beep

You just end your statement with "Beep" or someone might "beep" you if they think you were boasting about the great things going on around you.

I could be wrong, but I think that's where it's from and what it means.

Julie: Heehee! I hope the realization that I'm a "young lady" is a good thing! ^___^ My friends have started calling me a Chaser, but with the connotation that Chaser = stalker. Not good. :-\ And I'm also confused about the "beep" thing. :)

Great job on the Podcast! Yes, it was a bit long (lol), but you guys DID have a lot of information to cover! I didn't realize Shaina was such a young lady! (Gosh, I say that like I'm in my 80's or something! I'm still holding on to the 40's!!) I think it's great that she's such a huge fan as her "more mature" counterparts. I did have to laugh when she mentioned some of the "older" songs that she had never heard of. Well, I'm on the flip side! I'm not as familiar with some of the "newer" music that's out there. Just proves that SNC can put together a show to please audiences of all ages!

Good luck as you continue putting more of these together. I, for one, appreciate the effort, as I'm sure many of the Chasers on this site do!

Now, this may be a little "off topic," but, it's common knowledge that we're developing our own "SNC-speak." We have "Chaser" instead of stal....I mean groupie, someone invented "permasmile." Can anyone explain what this whole "beep" thing is about? LOL

I can't get over all of the positive responses from this little endeavor. I know all of us were chomping at the bit as we feared some wouldn't care for it as the length was........well a bit long.
