I have been active in my community since age 15. I was one of 3 to form an Emergency Resp. Group - Helped Police / Rescue / Community from this came the first County FIre Protection in 1969 obtain training and equipment from Federal Surplus. I graduated from Highschool in Thomson, GA. Was a full time firefighter and completed medical training a Medical of Georgia as Paramedic. Hired to organize and be DIRECTOR of the County Ambulance Service at its inception. Later, move on to the State EMS Office as Training Specialist with State of GA In 1998 developed a viral pneumonia and it destroyed my heart . Had a heart transplant in 2004 at the last hours of my life and after 4 years on transplant list and 8 months in the hospital in Emory Univeristy Hosp. Atlanta. Today God is using me to continue with Fire Department and the Community in advisory level with Emergency Services with over 40 years experience. Love music and active in Church Choir and was in Highshool Choral Group.
