About Me

I am a Radiographer at a local community hospital in central PA. I discovered SNC just before the holiday season in 2009 and have been a Chaser since that time. Listening to SNC reminded me of how much I missed singing and prompted me to get back to it. I will be forever grateful to them for that.

    Hi Kathleen!
I just stopped by to say "Hi", and let you know that I just loved your comment on Gina's thread! You put it so eloquently, but simply, and those are some of the reasons I wish that much more success for them! (as well as keep them close in prayer) Thanks for posting that comment! I really hope to get to meet you at a concert one day! God bless you!

Thanks for the post on the thread. Very well spoken and I couldn't agree more!

Let's keep our fingers crossed, I hope that someday you achieve your dream of having an awesome daughter-in-law as I do. I currently am blessed with what I believe to be one of the best if not the best daughter-in-law in the planet. She has been a blessing for our family.

Not a problem to not know where things in PA are, it is a pretty big state. I assume you mean Pittsburgh by saying you are from the burg? Threw me off without the "h" at the end. Lebanon is 25 miles west of Reading, 25 miles east of Harrisburg (also called the "Burg" at times by the locals) and 25 miles north of Lancaster. And takes about an hour to get to any of them as there is mostly 2 lane roads and 25 mph speedlimits along the way. Lewistown is about 60 miles northwest of Harrisburg and 25 miles southeast of State College (home to Penn State) Both areas have large Amish and Mennonite communities, but I have found that the PA Dutch accent, Dutchified phrases and such are more pronounced in the "regular" or "English" in Lebanon than it is here in Lewistown. Not a problem "eavesdropping" on anything I do here on site. I tend to do the same thing when i see something interesting, I oten follow comments back to the source to find out more about the person who posts. I consider much of this site the workings of the Holy Spirit. Most of my non chaser friends have a hard time understanding how you can get so involved in Chaserville. SNC attracts people with the same core values and beliefs that I have, it is no wonder we feel at home. And I am definitely of the age to remember Gilda Radner as well as Ruth Buzzi and Lily Tomlin

Hi Kathleen! - A fellow Pennsylvanian, I see! Forgive my ignorance, but where are Lewistown and Lebanon?

I call that Karma, the working of the Holy Spirit! It is sooo cool! I saw part two, by accident when viewing a link from here, and took months before I ran across part one! The part about the wall paper and the Newlywed Italian cooking cracked me up, as well as Ryan trying not to laugh when she was eating the apple and letting it fall out of her mouth! It did my heart good to see the two of them! I think I read somewhere that she does stand up comedy at a comedy club! I guess I'm giving my age away with Gilda Radner - most
Chasers probably don't know who she is!! I'd love to see more of Lauren and Ryan. Maybe they could do an anniversary video?! Wouldn't that be great?

It is nice to "meet" you. Thank you for the post on my profile! (I can't help but see {didn't mean to "eavesdrop"!} that Seggie's mom has been chatting with you too, lately! Isn't she just great?)

"Talk" with you later, I hope, Kathleen! :-)

Hello Kathleen, thank you for your support of the boys and the reason I am at ease with his choices is that he has such wonderful fans. I was fortunate enough to spend a lot of time with my children as they were growing up and it was not because we had. I will be a few minutes away from your 25 year old tomorrow (actually today since it is past midnight) and I will be sure to waive and say a prayer for him as I pass though on my way to Skoki. Is your son at Northwestern? If so, that would explain having limited discresionary spending :). It was Tina and Shaina and Kim that kept me coming back to the site as I watched them grow with the boys. Chasers are some of the most talented people I have seen in my lifetime and I am as proud of the Chasers as they are of the boys.

So I think it is not nessasary to go to London...perhaps they only sing two or three songs and for this I am going to fly to another continent, sleep in a hotel and spend a lot of money :(

Kathy, Randy's "gay" comment was a Retweet from someone else who replied to the Jimmy Fallon request to send in tweets and hashtag them as the worst lie they ever told...lol. I happened to catch this one on TV last night. Love Fallon! How are you doing, anyway? Can't wait for the weekend. Work has been brutal!

I was wondering that too. This crown is heavy and I'm ready to pass it on.
