I'm second generation Romanian-American, second eldest of seven kids. I come from a background where many of my uncles, cousins, even grandpa, have served as pastors in the church. Currently, I'm working as an assistant to four doctors in an oral surgery practice. I love my life and family, and I thank God everyday for His blessings. Those who know me well would probably say they love that I can make them laugh or cheer them up. I'm a self proclaimed dork who will always make a fool of herself to get a laugh. I try not to take myself too seriously. It's no surprise to see me singing or dancing down the hall at work.

Karaoke, reading about different cultures, European and American history, love cooking shows, playing board games with my family, singing (especially in church). It's not such a hobby, but I follow LA teams: Lakers, Dodgers, Kings.
Musical Influences
Ahhh....such a vast array of music that I enjoy. Not sure I could fit all my favorites, but here are some: Linda Ronstadt, Keely Smith, Louis Prima, Harry Connick, Jr., Billy Joel, The Eagles, Hall and Oates, Tom Jones, Andy Williams, Trisha Yearwood, The Mavericks, Merle Haggard, John Mayer, Alison Krauss, Elvis, Jackie Wilson, Chris Isaak. There's just not enough room to list them all. I've been told I've got an old soul, that I'm an old soul in a younger body.
I dig PBS because they play a lot of great concerts...how do you think I found SNC? I love watching Lawrence Welk reruns, cause it reminds me of being a kid. We, as a family watched together all the time. I give credit to my parents for introducing me to such wonderful music. Last concert I saw? Besides SNC, it was Harry Connick, Jr., and Hall and Oates.
Wait.. I can't forget Heart, Queen, Bread, Kings of Leon, Olivia Newton John, The Kinks, Sade, ABBA...
Favorite Songs to Perform Live
The Lion Sleeps Tonight is dear to me, because it's one of my dad's favorite songs, Can't Take My Eyes Off of You...(what chick wouldn't want that sung to them?), Hi De Ho is just so soulful and gritty. When I heard Time of the Season, I was floored, and bawled like a baby with O, Holy Night, which is my all time favorite Christmas song. It's so powerful. I have a couple more concerts coming up later in the year, so I'm sure I'll be adding more to this list.
Every song they perform is special, and I always leave the venue having laughed, cried, or both.
Favorite Place You've Traveled
I love, love, love Europe. Been to Italy, Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, England. My goal is to visit Romania (my family's roots), possibly volunteering in an orphanage or hospital, or just visiting as a tourist.
Favorite Things in General
I adore my family, playing with my nieces, playing board games with my family, karaoke, taking a fat nap, going to the movies, enjoying the company of some family or good friends just chatting at a Starbucks, trying new restaurants, watching a good, clean stand up comedy routine, going to a musical, traveling, reading, buying a new pair of sneakers. Just bought me some awesome Dodger Blue Nikes...and I love them. Wait..am I on E Harmony here? Feels like I just poured my heart out. J/K
