I am an x-ray tech in Toledo, Ohio. I was born in Pittsburgh, went to high school in Indy (go Ben Davis Giants!) and lived in Bloomington for seven years during my first marriage. I am a mother to three daughters, and a grandmother to six (4 girls, 2 boys). I sang in high school, and continue to sing at church. You guys are so inspiring---I love that your dream is coming true!! And it certainly doesn't hurt that you are all so talented.

don't have one, but it's a kick that I remember many of the places you talk about. Still have a brother in Bloomington and a niece that's at IU, so the connection is still there.

    Kathy - Regarding DR's picture of the set, I had posted earlier that the scene appears to be the bar area that changes with the decades. Someone mentioned it somewhere (I don't recall who, anymore!) If it's not that, then I'm stumped, too!

    I bore easily, so while I still do some diagnostic radiography, I also have certifications in Mammo, Bone Densitometry and Quality Management.
    At work, some of the techs call me the "paper nazi" as it' my job to keep track of lots of things.

    Kathy: Interesting that you were born in IN. We lived in Crown Point for 16 years--many friends back there. My husband retired and wanted to get out of the cold so we bought a lot in Williamsburg, VA, built a house and have lived here for 10 years now. Hate the heat and humidity of Summer but love the Winters with very little snow unlike the "lake affect" snow of NW corner of IN. It is amazing as someone else on here lives not too far away from me here in VA. We really have a "small world" here on the blog!

    Kathy: Someone on the blog commented on you losing your home to the tornado last night! My prayers to out to you and your family. Having grown up in cental Illinois, as a kid so many homes around us were leveled by tornados and know what a horrible experience this could be. I hope everyone is okay!

    No offense to the guys, but the Today Show didn't begin to do them justice, so you didn't miss a lot. Pre-recorded, no audience, and there was at least one song (of only four or so) that the hosts talked over. :-\
