Hey Jerome, I was lucky enough to be sitting in the front rows tonight at the Portland concert. Wow. What a performance! This was my first one. I'm sure I looked silly groovin' to the songs but you know, if you love the stuff, you love it. I've all ready decided this was the best Christmas present I could of given myself and I will do it again next year. So please come to Portland again.

I'm looking forward to the performance New Year's Eve in Mesa, AZ. This will be my first time. I'm a long time friend of your 4th grade teacher. She told me how good you were so I just had to be sure to see you.

Fabulous idea... My daughter is a senior flute player at Interlochen Arts Academy (ok only the world's best performing arts school) so she can ROCK THE FLUTE!! I'd love to see a collaboration between her flute - say like a Bach Sonata, or Mozart, or something equally "classical" that makes no sense when paired up with something contemporary, but yet works beautifully. Would LOVE to see that collaboration - especially when she's everything SNC, but who isn't, right? So...let's make it happen before she's off to travel the world as a famous flutist.

Rome,

Jerome I don't know if you remember me, but I sang the tshotsholoza solo with my group for you guys! I go to Notre Dame College now and am trying to strive in music. Yet there is one thing missing. A male acapella group. You guys have really inspired my life ever since I sang for you, but you especially. I see you are coming to Cleveland in December and was hoping maybe you could stop at Notre Dame before or after that. If you could email me at mpeters13@students.ndc.edu that would be awesome. I am really hoping to hear back for you. I think that this would really inspire my school and the men to step up and realize how amazing singing is. Well I will hopefully hear from someone from SNC soon! Thank you for your time!!

I am thrilled to announce that my Dad and I got tickets for snc in Cleveland on December 14th. I can hardly contain my excitement!!! Jerome, I love you and can't wait to see you perform live in a few months.

Ok...I am reaching out here...pretty unusual but here goes...My daughter and I will be attending in Durham NC on 11/24. She and I have had an estranged relationship for a while. When her mom and I separated she said I was a big disappointment because we never had daddy-daughter dates...She LOVES you guys. She was an all state vocalist and has always loved to sing. I am so proud of her...anyways, THIS is our Daddy Daughter date. I am so hopeful she will want me to be a part of her life again, that she will want to see me, talk to me and be proud of her Daddy...So..I guess this is a request to sing " The Living Years" on that night. I want...I need her to understand she won't have me forever and one day I will be gone. We are losing every second, every day, every year. I love my daughter so much and it just breaks my heart...I guess I feel this is my chance to make it right. You guys are awesome, I hope you see this, and you touch so many people with your music. I hope you reach out and touch my Daughter. Thank you so much.

Hi Jerome,
I was at your show last night in Charlottesville, Virginia. My daughter Amber and I were very fortunate to be in the meet-n-greet group and get pictures with you all! That was a new experience for both of us, and I just wanted to thank you for that and a wonderful show. You are all amazing, but you specifically had my daughter laughing several times, which is such a blessing. The past few years have been VERY difficult for her (her dad bailed to go be with his online girlfriend in Australia, and there's been lots of fallout from that) so seeing my daughter so free, excited, and happy was such a rare blessing. I can't thank you enough for giving us both such a wonderful night together. God Bless You.

Jerome, you are my favorite member of snc.I love your voice and sense of humor. You are a very talented guy and add something special to the group. I hope to see you guys in concert someday. Keep up the great work!!!

Wow! Went to college with you and graduated in 1997 and was great friends with S. Duggal. It is awesome to see you both succeed at the things you love. Now my little kids listen to you and think it is amazing that you are all doing that with your voices. Just looked you all up again today. Go Hoosiers!

Thank-you for the phenomenal concert on Sunday, I still have a smile. I really wanted to thank-you for signing my Biomechanics textbook- I honestly don’t have to words to tell you what that means: this is a class that over half the class has to retake and last year this class physically and mentally drained the life out me, no exaggeration. Your music has kept a smile on face since a slacker friend of mine sent me the 12 Days of Christmas you tube video Dec 2007, good thing I was basically finished studying. Back to the present, since now Biomechanics and a few other classes are all that stand in my way from graduation, the pressure is on and your signatures on the front cover remind me to smile.

Hey Jerome, It's because of me that you had to sign that boys chest, I hope that wasn't too painful for you and will leave you with a long lasting memory of one of your weird Canadian moments! You have awesome facial expressions, just love it. Just looked at your nick name, and just met a six month old baby today named Rome, strange but true.
cheers, Diane.

I would love to have the performance of "Fix You" and "Bridge Over Trouble Water" on DVD but cant find it for sale anywhere. Any idea when that will come to DVD?

Hi Jerome. What a fab night my friend and I had in Fareham watching you and the other guys perform/sing for us. The hugs and kisses after at the meet and greet were the icing on the cake for me and Claire. Hope you get home safe and we look forward to seeing you back in the UK very soon xx

I came to see you guys in York with my dad and as soon as you sang 'heard it through the grapevine', we both looked at each other, and just said, wow.

Your voice is just incredible! I can't wait to see you guys again :)

Matt Smoothdiggity T.'s picture

Hey Jerome, this is Smoothdiggity the driver that toured with you last year. I see you guys are touring the states again this year in May. I hope to see you guys again this year. Stay Bless.
Ps. when you can, get in touch with me.

hi jarome, I dont know if you have a say in this but maybe you can bring it to the other guys attention. I really wanted to know if for Winter Jam 2013 in St. Charles Missouri you could perform a gospel song at that concert it would just comlete my life if you did! you see i lost my dad when i was 7 and my mother when i had to live with my grandmother for about 3 years after that then i moved out. i found music and has become a big part of my life so i decided to become a music teacher as a senior in high school, i beg you to please make it happen for my continue with the good work!

Good morning. Enjoyed meeting you and playing golf with you on Friday. Hope you landed successfully in Pittsburgh. What a story and website. When chatting with friends last night before I mentioned the group's name they knew about you, had a couple of your CDs and knew that you would be performing at the Kravis Center in May! When back in WPB and if interested in joining a local non-denominational choir when in town please let me know and I will introduce you to our friends who are members of this choir. Hopefully we will be back in May to see a performance. Wishing you a successful UK tour. Tom & Ellen

There is no way a voice like yours should not be showcased everywhere. I took my 10 yr. old daughter to see you guys at the Chicago Theater and the song you did in the second encore, with no mic I might add, was so beautiful. The way you projected and your voice was strong but smooth as silk. Very few singers move me but you had me in the audience shaking my head with a mean mug on my face. Ha! Brotha...you talented! Keep goin'...keep goin'.

Jerome, thanks for signing the picture my daughter brought of you and her at your concert here in Fresno last year!! She was so thrilled to be able to get another picture taken with you and we look forward to having you sign it next time you are here in Fresno!!

We had a great time last night!

Hi Jerome- I didn't get a chance to tell you on Sunday night, but you are so fantastically talented, and it was a true pleasure watching you perform in Santa Barbara. Thank you for coming to our town.

Hi Jerome,
I enjoyed hearing you guys in Cupertino, CA tonight! I liked your Michael Jackson moves! I can also imagine you in the Lion King! Great job!

Shirley_3's picture

Hi Jerome - Saw you guys in Portland (3rd time) and now waiting for tickets to go on sale for next year. :) I just wanted to thank you and all the guys for a wonderful performance. I sit and watch you guys sing so beautifully and act so crazy and by the time I leave my hands hurt from applauding and my face hurts from laughing. Thank you so much for the joy you bring me and all who attend. I wanted to go through the meet and greet to have you sign a copy of your woopie cushion costume but maybe next time. :) Now one favor - I know you are in Cupertino tonight and I was planning on flying down to take my 85 yr old Mom but she can't leave my Dad alone so was thinking ... Jerome can stop by her house and sing a song to cheer her up. Let me know what time you'll be heading over and I'll give you the address. :) Thanks again for all the joy you bring to everyone. Have a great Christmas and happy new year.
Shirley

My seven year old daughter has now become your biggest fan!! We caught the concert in Portland, OR and though she was able to go through the autograph line, she didn't get to ask you the question she was dying to put to you the whole concert. Would you give her singing lessons? :)

Thank you all for such entertaining music and performances - what an incredible gift.

Genevieve's picture

Hello!! I have a request of you guys:

I am the Event Coordinator for a wedding/reception venue in Topeka, Kansas, and I am creating a video to use to promote our facility at a Bridal Fair coming up in January. I have put the video together and like the direction it is taking, but there is something missing. I would like your (Straight No Chaser's) permission to use "I'm Yours/Over the Rainbow" and your arrangement of "Fix You" as the soundtrack to the video I've made. I would, of course, use appropriate music credits to acknowledge the band, and am more than willing to show you the video at this point, and send you a final for approval.

I think both of these songs will provide a wonderful soundtrack to enhance the video I've made so far, and hope that you will let me use it!

Thank you for considering, and I hope I hear back from you soon!

My email address is gnichols@greatoverlandstation.com, if you can respond to that, I'd really appreciate it!

- Genevieve

Hi Rome! At Sunday's show, you mentioned living in Chicago for a while. Was that actually in the city or somewhere else (a lot of people think you're still talking about Chicago when you mention another area)? The show was excellent & I can't wait to see you again in April!

Shirley_3's picture

YES! You are in Portland tonight! Can't wait!

I was a bit disheartened when I got a picture of all of the Chasers except you Jerome! Next time for sure if I'm quick enough :). I am a huge fan of Josh Groban's 'O Holy Night' but hearing you sing it at Saturday night's concert at the Chicago Theatre has been my new favorite rendition. Next time you see Josh Groban, please don't tell him that...
You have such an amazing voice, along with the rest of the group, and funny to boot! I cannot wait until SNC comes back to Chicago. Until then, youtube videos will have to suffice. Happy Holidays!

Just got home from the 3PM show at The Chicago Theater. AMAZING!!!! Second row!!! Second year we have gone.

Thank you.

Jerome,
Saw you all in Cleveland for the first time! You ALL are so gifted, so amazing but I must say, your passion just oozes from you! (I'm a nurse, I know oozing when I see it!!) Everyone at work was SO sick of me by the end of the day (14 hours is a looooong time to talk about a subject) blabbering on about you guys! I gushed, I made them watch the video I took on my cell phone, I told them about your web site...so either they will become fans and go to your concert or I've chased an entire hospital unit away from ever seeing your show! Yes, God HAS blessed each and every one of you - allowing you to live your dreams and share this gift with us!

Great show in Indy last night! Forgot to mention after the show how much I LOVED the unplugged O Holy Night. It was really moving and sounded fabulous without the sound system. And thanks for the picture you took with my two daughters; a SNC concert was the only Christmas present my youngest daughter had asked for, so thanks to all of you for making it such a special gift. Having the picture and all the video we took will make it a special memory!

You broke me down at the Cleveland show when you sang "Oh, Holy Night" You are the most entertaning person to watch sing and its evident that you love what you do and have a strong passion for it which I admire more than you could imagine. You are one of my main inspirations. I love you!!!

Susan_4's picture

see SNC is coming to my city of Jacksonville, Florida on December 21st! I would give ANYTHING to be able to go! I'm embarrassed to say that I'm a single mother with one in college and one in high school! I work two jobs and still struggle! I just found out I have a tumor on my brain the size of a quarter. It has not been a fun year! SNC is my ultimate favorite! I love all of your songs! If you know of anyway I could get 2 tickets to the concert, please let me know. My ultimate wish is to be there and get a picture with all of you! Love yall!!! Susan..

SNC, we LOVE you! We see you everytime you come to Southern Ca. We have tickets for your upcoming show on Dec. 9th. We are a group of 6 girlfriends from elementary school and we get together 2-3 times a year. This year is very special, as we are celebrating the 50th birthday of our "pack" leader Leigh. Leigh-Leader is her nickname (amoung others) and she is the one who introduced SNC to the rest of us. It would be AWESOME if you could give a 50th shout out on Dec. 9th to her, if not, I understand. We will have a great time watching and listening to our favorite guys. Thank you for all the fun great music you guys put together. Cheryl
