Are we in the Twilight Zone? The picture is post dated to 9/8/2010. Is Randy trying to tell us that he is in Sister Bay until then, or that he will be arriving there then?
Still a memorable, peaceful picture, but I bet that water is cold!
I'm in the upper peninsula of MI right now, my favorite place on earth, catching up on sleep. I pulled in about 11:30 last nite & the neighbors were having a bash, so wandered over to say hi, & the stars were sooo amazing.
Was talking to my neighbor's son about how clear & bright it is here & all the shooting stars you see if you just sit out for a bit, & just then, the first of many sailed right on by! ;-)
I have to agree with SNCfan1979... You hardly get to see the stars over here in LA. I've never been able to see any stars, let alone planets! I only can see airplanes... :(

Enjoy your time off, Randy!
Beautiful. Being so close to Atlanta, all I see is airplanes and smog.
Great photo!

I did see Venus up tonight (yes, even in the light-polluted LA suburbs)... bright and beautiful!

I feel relaxed just looking at the photo.
Oooh, beautiful. Can't believe that is Venus!
How pretty. Looks like a beautiful place to spend the holiday weekend.
